Now Museum -- Now You Don't! - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The episode starts off in Spider Skull Island in a flashback to the original Team Venture days. Inside the main building of Spider-Skull Island, a group of villains are reunited. Reading off a card, a man that has a spider scar for a nose and an Italian accent, Scaramantula, welcomes them to the island, and also welcomes them to what he calls the first ever “Fraternity of Torment." Scaramantula stops reading the card and motivates the few villains sitting on the table. He starts off with a man in a bull or “Minotaur” costume. The man with a spider scar nose tells the Manotaur that his size had made him an outcast amongst people, but now these people fear him for what he has become. Next, Scaramantula tries to tell a pink-skinned man with a large cranium, named Brainulo, about his deformity, but Brainulo interrupts him, saying that it is not a deformity. Scaramantula corrects himself and tries to continue, mentioning Brainulo’s addiction to plastic surgery, but Brainulo corrects him again and tells him that he was born like that a thousand years in the future. Scaramantula tries to continue and dismisses, sarcastically, what Brainulo was saying. Brainulo interrupts Scaramantula again, telling him that he came to the meeting inside a robot and that the only reason he came to this place is to ally himself with Scaramantula’s proposed group to “exact revenge” on Dr. Venture for stranding him in the past. Brainulo specifically dates the year he’s in, which is 1959 (1969?). Scaramantula tells Brainulo that they’ll talk about that later and that now he’s going to welcome their newest member. He introduces a man called “Dr. Fenadragon." Dr. Fenadragon is wearing typical green Chinese attire and is holding his eyes back as if he were squinting them. Scaramantula tells Dr. Fenadragon that his extranumerary nipple had made him a pariah in his village, ”Japananunwa." Dr. Fenadragon tells the group that this was the reason he hates Dr. Venture. Scaramantula tells him that they all do. Scaramantula notes Dr. Fenadragon’s unusually tall size, specifically saying that Dr. Fenadragon is “easily 6’2."

Scaramantula tells the group that he has a plan to destroy Dr. Venture. He tells everyone to look at where he was pointing at. On top of a small elevated walkway, young Rusty Venture is sitting on a chair, gagged and tied. Rusty screams out for help in a garbled way. Scaramantula tells the villainous group that if Dr. Venture doesn’t surrender to them in an hour, he will feed Rusty Venture to his ravenous piranhas. All the villains on the table cheer at Scaramantula’s plans. Dr. Fenadragon calls Scaramantula’s moves classic, and also tells Scaramantula that he knows what Dr. Venture will say after he hears about them. Scaramantula asks Dr. Fenadragon what he was referring to. Dr. Fenadragon takes out his wig and facial hair revealing his true identity, which is none other than Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. Dr. Jonas Venture Sr., after revealing his true identity to the group yells out “Go Team Venture.” After Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. yells this out, his tunneling machine enters the villain’s hideout, surprising everyone inside the room except Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. A few members of Team Venture come outside of the tunneling machine and introduces their group in formation. (The current known members shown were “Kano, Colonel Gentleman, and a black man wearing boxing shorts/gloves/belt and hoverboots, Swifty). Scaramantula scrambles to push a button that releases Rusty’s trap door, thus making him fall into the pit of piranhas. Scaramantula’s henchmen then surround Team Venture. Inside the piranha pit, Otto Aquarius, holding Rusty Venture in his arms, leaps out from this pit and save Rusty. H.E.L.P.eR. comes rushing by and Otto Aquarius hands Rusty to him. H.E.L.P.eR. turns on his helicopter mode and flies Rusty to safety. Otto Aquarius turns back and telepathically communicates to the piranhas. The piranha pit starts to bubble. The rest of Team Venture fights Scaramantula’s henchmen, while the piranhas jump toward these henchmen. The Manotaur notices that Otto Aquarius is causing the piranhas to act erratic and gets up from the table and starts to charge at him. Kano notices this and uses a flame throwing technique at the Manotaur. The Manotaur bursts into flames and falls into the piranha pit.

Brainulo notices all this and starts to communicate telepathically to his robot, to which he calls it “Futuro." He commands Futuro to attack Team Venture. Just as Futuro starts to walk, a large Dr. Entmann smashes through a wall, smashing a few of Scaramantula‘s henchmen, and yelling out “Go Team Venture." Dr. Entmann hits Futuro and starts to fight it. Futuro falls down on Brainulo. The Action Man then comes in riding a hoverbike, and starts shooting at all of Scaramantula‘s henchmen. He then jumps off his hover bike and flips in the air, lands on another henchman, and starts to shoot at him several times in his head. Colonel Gentlemen asks the Action Man what he’s doing. The Action Man responds to him be saying that he’s “winning the game." Colonel Gentleman tells him to “take it down a notch” seeing that the Action Man is lost in the moment of things. Colonel Gentleman then tells him in comparison to another Team Venture teammate, “Ook-Ook," a caveman using a large bone as a club, telling him that “Ook-Ook” is a “mindless savage” and that he even knows when to “pull his punches." Ook-Ook is then shown hitting a henchman on the head with a bone club. As Colonel Gentleman and the Action Man are talking, Scaramantula escapes their grasp. Dr. Entmann tells his fellow teammates that his throat hurts. Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. tells Dr. Entmann to take it easy and that he’ll be just fine. Somewhere beneath his headquarters, Scaramantula pulls down a lever and starts to laugh. As he does this, a female Italian voice starts to count down in Italian. Scaramantula travels down a flight of stairs and escapes.

Back inside the main section of the island, where Team Venture was fighting Scaramantula’s henchmen, Team Venture is looking at Kano as he attempts to revive Dr. Entmann by applying CPR on him. The Action Man hears the countdown and asks what that is. Colonel Gentlemen tells him that it’s a female voice reading a self destruct countdown in Italian. The Action Mann complains and again asks villains always have to do this kind of trick. Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. tells his team to “fan out," and that they have to find the location of the bomb. The lever where Scaramantula activated the self-destruct mechanism is shown to have short-circuited. Since the self-destruct countdown ceased to continue, Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. thinks it's a false alarm. Colonel Gentleman asks his fellow team mates if they think the champagne Scaramantula was serving his guests is still cold. Colonel Gentleman holds up a glass and the entire team starts to laugh. Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. then calls out for someone he calls “Dickie” and asks him if he can come outside to take a picture for them and their “new headquarters." A young man comes out holding a camera and tells Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. that it’s “no problem." Team Venture poses for the camera and Dickie takes a picture of them. Dickie tells the group to say “Go Team Venture." Team Venture does so, and Dickie takes the shot. (Dickie is in fact a younger Professor Richard Impossible).

After Dickie takes the picture everything warps back to the present time, where Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. is telling his audience about the time his late father conquered Spider Skull Island. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. shows them the picture Dickie took of the event. The picture is hung, along with other pictures of his father and his group, on a wall. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells his guests that he could think of no other fitting home for the “Jonas Venture Museum of Jonas Venture.”

Inside Pirate Captain’s boat, sailing in the ocean, the remaining members of the old Team Venture, Kano, Otto Aquarius, and the Action Man, are arguing with an older Scaramantula. Pirate Captain tries to calm the situation down but fails. Next to the arguing group, Brainulo is sitting on an electronic chair ranting about how he remembers how the ocean was all underwater once. The Action Man remarks that it’s sad to see Brainulo speaks like this.

Inside the Spider Skull Island complex, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. shows a group of people an exhibition of his late father. The object Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. is referring to is a bomb mounted on a farmer’s tractor. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells the group that this bomb is the real atomic bomb that the “Rosenbergs tried to sell the Russians." The group looks on in awe. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. notices his brother and his group walk inside the doorway. He asks his guest to excuse him for a moment. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. “hovers” toward Dr. Venture and his group. The Venture group is all wearing black tie suits, except for Dr. Entmann who is on Brock’s shoulder, and Dr. Rusty Venture, who is wearing a purple suit and tie. H.E.L.P.eR. is accompanying them. As Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. goes toward them, Hank and Dean say hello to their uncle. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. says hello to them as well. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells Brock about a drink he thinks Brock will like, and suggest to Brock to take Hank and Dean along with them. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. was indicting that he wanted to talk to his brother alone. Brock takes the boys and leaves to get a drink. As Brock leaves with Hank and Dean, also Dr. Entmann, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells Dr. Rusty Venture that he was late, and that he’s not wearing a black suit and tie like he told him to wear. Dr. Rusty Venture tells his brother that it is a suit. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells him that the occasion warrants him to wear “formal evening attire” and not what he’s currently wearing. Dr. Rusty Venture tells his brother that Dean told him he looked niece. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells his brother that they are representing their late father, and that he needs to show some more respect and dignity for him. Dr. Rusty Venture tells him that he doesn’t think that their father would mind. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells his brother that he minds. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. then tells everyone who ever worked with their father is attending the commemoration party. As Dr. Rusty Venture walks away, he complains that he’s going to have to talk to the “Harlem Globetrotters” again. One of Dr. Jonas Venture Jr.’s employees, a formal pirate, walks up to him and tells him that there is a disturbance at the hanger. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells him to ask Pirate Captain to handle this situation, and that he’s busy. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. then walks away, with a disturbed look in his face.

Inside a large walkway, Scaramantula, now on Spider Skull Island along with his group, is walking up a huge flight of stairs gloating about how he’s in top shape, while his formal nemeses are pathetically weak. He asks them if they want to know the secret to why he’s in better condition than them, and also if they want to know how he escaped them all the times they tried to capture him inside his formal headquarter. Then he tells them that his two secrets are now revealed, seeing that they are walking past the place he use to escape from when his former enemies, attacked him. Scaramantula laughs a bit. Action Man tries to keep up with Scaramantula while Kano and Otto Aquarius are out of breath walking up the stairs at a slower pace. Otto Aquarius even uses an inhaler for extra support. Pirate Captain is hauling Brainulo up the stairs and complaining that if Scaramantula was so smart, why is it he didn’t install an elevator while he built the place. Brainulo, in his own state of mind, starts to say that Scaramantula had once built a machine that spun steal like spider silk. Scaramantula, still gloating, starts to run up the stairs and tells them that he’s walking up the stairs two at a time. Scaramantula then starts to taunt them from above. The Action Man swears to the rest of the group that he’s going to kill him. The Action Man tells Scaramantula that he has “plastic knees."

Inside Spider Skull Island’s hanger bay, a man inside an aircraft who is running amuck is trying to land. The hanger bay is filled with people who are panicked over this, and are running out of control. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. enters the bay and notices this. When the person inside the aircraft finally lands, it is revealed that the man is actually Professor Impossible. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. approaches Professor Impossible, and when he gets close to him, he greats him. Professor Impossible gets out of his aircraft and hesitates, forgetting Jonas Jr.'s name. Professor Impossible is wearing a black tie suit but it's scuffled up, he has a five o’clock shadow and his hair is messed up. When Professor Impossible says hello to Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., Ned comes running by and gets inside the back of Professor Impossible's aircraft. Both Professor Impossible and Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. turn around and see Ned do this. Professor Impossible then tells Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. in a low key voice that he’s not going to let him keep “her," “her” referring to Sally, his soon to be formal wife. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. turns back around and asks Professor Impossible what he said. Professor Impossible tells him that he said nothing. Scaramantula gets inside the hanger via secret passage, ranting about how his formal headquarters looks exactly how it use to look. After Scaramantula walks away, the Action Man, Kano, Otto Aquarius walk inside behind him, but at a slower pace. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. hovers toward them greeting them to Spider Skull Island as he approaches. The Action Man is surprised by Dr. Jonas Venture Jr.'s appearance and asks him what he is. Jonas Jr. introduces himself and tells them that he’ll show them to their tables. After the Action Man, Kano, Otto Aquarius walk away, Pirate Captain, pushing Brainulo, walks through the secret passageway into the hanger bay. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells Pirate Captain to go and tell Sally that Professor Impossible has arrived. Pirate Captain lets go of Brainulo’s wheelchair and Brainulo moves away. Pirate Captain, who is out of breath, asks Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. to give him a few minutes to catch his breath. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. then tells him to take Ned along with him. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. walks away and Pirate Captain walks toward Professor Impossible’s aircraft where Ned is sitting inside of. As he walks toward it, Pirate Captain tries to compromise with Ned, by telling him it’s time to get out of the aircraft. Ned seems to not want to get off of it. Pirate Captain tries to open Ned’s door, but is violently pushed away by Ned. Pirate Captain lands a great distance away.

Inside the table area of the event, Dr. Entmann, aka Humongaloid, is sitting on a small side of a table. The Action Man, Kano and Otto Aquarius greet him. The Action Man tells him that he hasn’t seen him in a while. Dr. Entmann thanks God for seeing them again. He then asks them if any of them needs a roommate. The Action Man jokingly asks him what the problem is, and then notes that there is enough room for him inside the Venture compound. Dr. Entmann tells them that the compound is okay, but that Dr. Venture’s kids, Hank and Dean, keep trying to flush him down the toilet. The Action Man understands what he’s going through, and notes that Hank and Dean “aren’t the brightest bulbs on the menorah."

Somewhere inside the party zone, Hank sticks his tongue on a large slab of ice. His tongue freezes and sticks to it. Dean comes along and finds him like this and tells him that he won the bet, and that Hank needs to pay him. The ice Hank had put his tongue on is either a replica or the actual former Venture Team member known as “Ook-Ook."

Somewhere inside the residential part of the island, Pirate Captain walks in at Sally’s room, and tells her what the chairman, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., asked him to tell her. Sally is entirely naked and is startled by Pirate Captain. Pirate Captain notices her naked and they both start to scream. Sally turns her skin invisible and Pirate Captain runs off. He goes into the hall and asks her for forgiveness. Sally runs inside another room wearing a towel, with her skin still invisible. As Sally runs off, Pirate Captain notes that what had just happened was strange for him on many levels.

Inside the museum area, Brock and Dr. Venture are observing Dr. Jonas Venture Sr.’s old stuff. Brock asks Dr. Venture what he thinks of the place. He then asks him if agrees if the museum is impressive or not. Dr. Venture tells him that it is impressive, but that it’s missing one thing. Brock asks him if he’s referring to the lack of “girls” and “not deformed guys." Dr. Venture tells him that he’ll give him a clue. Dr. Venture starts to ask Brock a series of rhetorical questions all leading to the same answer. Dr. Venture asks him: ”Who was, for forty-two years the only son of Dr. Jonas Venture? Who from the ages three to seventeen accompanied him from hundreds of adventures, the chilling memories of which rouse him from sleep and a cold sweat from this day?” Brock changes the subject; he notes Dr. Venture’s “cold sweat” comment and asks him if he had noticed the ice sculpture on the bar. Dr. Venture tells him that he had, and that he has one just like it but in bronze and on his front lawn. Dr. Venture asks Brock why he brought it up. Brock tells him that he should go and check the ice sculpture more closely.

Inside the picture gallery area of the museum, Professor Impossible is looking at an old picture of Dr. Jonas Venture Sr., himself, a younger version of the Phantom Limb and a few other people. Professor Impossible then touches the picture. Sally comes behind him and says hello to him. Professor Impossible, surprised by her appearance, tries to say hello, but Sally immediately asks him if he brought the “divorce papers." Professor Impossible looks into his suit’s pockets to see if he brought them, but tells her that he thinks he left them on another suit. Sally, disappointed in him, tells him “never mind." She then walks away telling him that she has a copy somewhere upstairs. Professor Impossible attempts to stop her, telling her to wait. He reaches out to her using his stretching abilities. He asks her to take him back. Sally refuses and tells him that they’ve been through this already. Professor Impossible tells her that he knows how he’s been acting around her in the past and that he works too much. Professor Impossible tells her that he’s learning how to have more fun. Professor Impossible then starts to dance and juggle a bit. Sally tells him to pull himself back together, and that he’s a mess. Sally then starts to touch his hair. Professor Impossible tells her that “his girlfriend likes his hair the way it is.” Professor Impossible tells her that her girlfriend is young, and that they are getting a boat together. He then admits that he was lying. Sally then touches Professor Impossible’s bowtie, and his entire suit, including his bowtie, automatically fixes itself. Professor Impossible tells Sally that she knows him “so well." Sally, with her head down, walks away.

At the ice sculpture that Brock was talking about earlier, Dr. Venture notices that the sculpture he had in mind has a different face on it. The face where young Rusty Venture use to be, has Dr. Jonas Venture Jr.’s face instead. Dr. Venture sighs after he sees it. Dr. Venture then asks a bartender to give him another “double sidecar” [alcoholic drink]

Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., somewhere inside the party area, is scolding one of his waiters over the waiter serving a certain dish before the specified time. Sally then walks by and expresses her annoyance toward Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., about how she can’t believe that he had invited Professor Impossible. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells her that “Richard” used to by in the “boy’s brigade." When Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. finishes talking, Ned comes along running naked and being chased by Pirate Captain as he attempts to make Ned wear his clothes. People in the background start to laugh as Ned runs around without pants. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. asks someone to do something about Ned not wearing pants. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. then goes back to the waiter and tells him that he isn’t finished speaking to him.

Brock and the Action Man are sitting on a bench located in the picture gallery area of the museum. They are looking at a picture of the old Venture Team when they were being honored by President John F. Kennedy. The Action Man tells Brock that he would have loved being a member of the team back then. He tells them that on Friday nights back then they use to go to Cuba to arch Fidel Castro for a few hours, and then go back to White House to debrief the president. He tells Brock that the debriefing was actually a cover story and that what actually went on was that “Jack had his famous pool parties." The Action Man tells him that after the pool parties they would “let” to Las Vegas to catch Frank Sinatra’s last show of the night. And after the show ended, they’d go to Coco each with the “Mercury guys." Brock then changes the subject and asks him what the back story with Brainulo is, he asks him if he’s part of the old Venture team as well. Brainulo, observing his old golden robot is sitting at a brief distance from Brock and the Action Man. The Action Man tells him that the man’s name is Brainulo and that he is one of their old nemeses. He explains to Brock that Brainulo claimed to be a super genius from the future. He then tells Brock that Brainulo is now “super senile." Billy Quizboy, who is holding a book, comes along and asks the Action Man if he really is the Action Man. The Action Man does his old adventurer gag. Billy tells him that it is unbelievable that he is there with him. Billy asks him for his autograph. The Action Man tells him that it’s not problem, and asks him who he should make the signature out to. The rest of the old Team Venture comes along and Billy can’t believe his eyes. Billy says that he doesn’t know if he brought enough money with him so that the rest of the Team Venture could autograph his book. He reaches into his pocket to see if he has enough money to pay for the autographs. He calls out to Pete White, who is off screen, asking him how much money he has. Pete White tells him that he thought it was an open bar. Billy asks them what they charge for an autograph. The Action Man tells him that he isn’t charging anything. Billy, who seems to not have heard the Action Man’s response, asks him if he accepts checks, and tells him that he’s a friend of Rusty Venture.

Brainulo, who is sitting alone observing his old golden robot, attempts to communicate with it telepathically, but is interrupted by Ned and Pirate Captain. Ned, who still isn’t weaning any pants, refuses to let the Pirate Captain to make him put on his pants. Ned runs around in circles around Brainulo’s chair. Pirate Captain tells Ned that he’s making people sick because of not wearing any pants (and underwear). Ned and Pirate Captain run off. Brainulo reattempts to communicate with his robot again. Scaramantula walks toward Brainulo’s back and tells him that he noticed him trying to communicate with “Futuro." Brainulo goes into his senile gag again and asks Scaramantula if he is his mother. Scaramantula tells Brainulo to stop faking and that he knows he’s not senile, because he noticed him faking it awhile ago. Brainulo reluctantly stops his senile act all together, and tells Scaramantula to be quiet because he’s planning on luring the “puny-minded” Venture family into a false sense of security, so that he can strike them when they least expect it. Scaramantula asks him if he could help out in anyway. Scaramantula tells him that he hates how they changed his former headquarters. Brainulo tells him that he can help him. Brainulo then tells him that the “Fraternity of Torment” will have its revenge on this night.

Sitting at a table, the remaining members of Team Venture have decided to create an autograph booth. A sign that indicates the price of these autographs says: “Meet the original Team Venture. Autographs $10, Pictures with $20, origami $5." The Action Man signs an autograph to a young person, while Kano does an origami swan for another one. They then take a group picture. The original Team Venture then notices another booth sponsored by their formal villains Scaramantula and Brainulo. Their sign reads: “Team Venture Rogues galley. Autographs $15." The old Team Venture is infuriated by their success, and stares at them. The Action Man calls them “Sons of Bitches." Billy is at the villains' booth asking how Scaramantula got his name. Scaramantula explains to him that excluding his scar, which is shaped in part like a spider, he includes his eye brows and his mustache as part of his villainous persona. Also worthy to point out is that Scaramantula has his right hand full of hair and has eight total fingers on it. After explaining this to Billy, Scaramantula signs Billy’s book. Billy tells him that he always wanted to know about Scaramantula's back-story. Billy then asks Brainulo if he could sign his autograph book as well. Billy tells him that he’s his favorite villain of all time. Billy then excuses himself to Scaramantula and explains to him that he liked Brainulo more because of the comparison that they both have large heads. Brainulo tells Billy to leave him. Billy then leaves, and Brainulo complains to Scaramantula about what he calls “vengeance." Scaramantula tells him that since their autographing line is longer than the old Team Venture’s, it's causing them to be furious with them. Scaramantula tells Brainulo that they, and Team Venture looks over to their booth in anger.

Back at the old Team Venture autographing booth, Dr. Venture comes. The Action Man assumes Dr. Venture came to them for an autograph. But Dr. Venture, who is apparently drunk at the time, holding up an alcoholic drink, tells them in angry tone of voice that they came by to the inauguration of the museum to “gorge” themselves on ”free shrimp” on his father’s honor. Brock then attempts to calm Dr. Venture down, but fails. Dr. Venture continues to pick a fight with them. Dr. Venture tells them that it was too bad that their old teammate Colonel Gentleman couldn’t be here with them. He then asks them if they managed to kill him as well. Just after Dr. Venture finishes speaking, someone from behind him taps on Dr. Venture’s shoulder. Dr. Venture turns around and notices that it’s Colonel Gentleman. As Dr. Venture turns around, Colonel Gentleman punches Dr. Venture on the head and knocks him down. Dean says out load that he thinks it’s the ghost of Colonel Gentleman. Colonel Gentleman screams to Dr. Venture that he punched him over Dr. Venture breaking stepdaughter’s heart, Dr. Tara Quymn’s. Brock tries to intervene but Colonel Gentleman puts his cane toward Brock’s neck and tells him not to even try to fight him because he still has some fighting moves in him. Dean tells him that he thought he, Colonel Gentleman, was dead. Colonel Gentleman tells Dean that that is nonsense, and that he’s just like an ox. Hank continues to say that they had even poked him to see if he was still alive. Colonel Gentleman finds out that the persons who poked at him where them. He mentions that someone named Kiki had told him that someone was inside his house while he was gone.

[A flashback commences] The flashback takes us back some months in the past, to when Colonel Gentleman was still presumed alive. Colonel Gentleman is wearing a fez and red robe, while a young tanned man wearing golden tight short shorts and a fez is throwing some dishes at him and also throws them to the ground. This man, Kiki, is arguing with him about something Colonel Gentleman did. While Colonel Gentleman tells him to leave, Kiki throws the reaming plates on the floor and starts to walk away. As Colonel Gentleman narrates the flashback, he says that he had argued with Kiki before but never had such an argument like that one before. He continues to say that he thought Kiki had left him for good this time. Sometime later Colonel Gentleman says that he had “buried his grief” in “Mallomars with a Yoo-Hoo chaser." Colonel Gentleman is naked and chugging down snack food items. Colonel Gentleman tells Hank and Dean that they must have seen him when he went unconscious after he went under a diabetic coma. Colonel Gentleman is shown to pass out after he had eaten all the junk food. [Flashback briefly ends] Both Hank and Dean understand, Colonel Gentleman then tells them that Kiki had came back.

[The flashback recommences] Kiki is shown injecting an unconscious Colonel Gentleman with a shot of insulin. Colonel Gentleman walks up, takes a deep breath, and notices a letter is taped to his chest. Colonel Gentleman is happy to see Kiki. Kiki, with tears in his eyes, apologizes to Colonel Gentleman. He says he’s sorry for leaving him. Colonel Gentleman, with the needle still stuck on his vain, punches Kiki in the face. Kiki drops to the floor and cries. Colonel Gentleman tells him that he hit him for giving him a coma. He then tells Kiki to get up. Colonel Gentleman makes a gesture that he was about to smack him again. Colonel Gentleman then takes the needle out of his arm and injects himself again on his butt. Colonel Gentleman then feels his chest, specifically his nipple area and notices that this part of his body had grown fat. He curses the Mallomars he had eaten before and says that his “tits” are back. He takes out his needle from his butt and throws it to the floor. Colonel Gentleman runs outside where Kiki is located and starts to talk to him. [Flashback ends] Colonel Gentleman says the following as the flashback ends: “The few poppers later, Kiki gave me one by God. A thousand sweat soaked silent saris later, we where back together." Everyone who was listening to Colonel Gentleman’s story seems to have a disgusted look on their face. Colonel Gentleman then says that they can read all about his stories in his memoirs. He takes his book out from his briefcase and shows it to the group. The book’s cover has Colonel Gentleman drinking a martini next to the UK flag. The book’s title says something along with “Gentlemen Gentleman."

Somewhere in the museum area, Billy is looking and literally dueling over at the toy and memorabilia that Team Venture use to produce. He notices one in particular, a string talking action figure of Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. Billy pulls the string to hear\ what it says, which is: “Watch out! Incoming frogmen!." Billy says wow after he hears it. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. comes along and tells Billy not to touch the display.

Dr. Venture and Brock walk back to the bar area. Dr. Venture asks the bartender for a “Sam and Sweater” with extra ice. He then complains to Brock about his bodyguard duties. Brock tells Dr. Venture that Colonel Gentleman wasn’t going to kill him. When Brock finishes talking, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. comes along and asks them if they are enjoying the party. Dr. Venture attempts to tell him how displeased he is, but Brock covers his mouth before he can say anything. Brock tells Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. that everything is great, and that he had outdone himself. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells Brock that he needs to borrow Dr. Rusty Venture for a while. He says he wants to show him and his guests a certain picture. Sally then walks along, and tells Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. that she wants to talk to him. Sally turns around and notices Professor Impossible hiding around the fountain. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. asks her if what she wants to talk about can wait. Sally, in an elevated and annoyed tone of voice, tells Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. that what she has to say cannot wait. She continues to say that Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. has been ignoring her the entire night and that he never told her that he was inviting Richard (Professor Impossible). Professor Impossible, from afar, extends his ear to hear the conversation Sally and Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. were having. Sally notices Professor Impossible’s ear and stops talking. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., trying to calm her down, tells her that she’s clearly upset and that he wants to be there for her, but he has to go attend the guests. He tells her to hold on for a while and that he’ll be with her shortly. He then tells her that he promises to get back to her. After Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. hovers away, Sally, annoyed by her situation, pulls Professor Impossible’s ear, then she walks away.

In the table where Colonel Gentleman has set up to sell his books, old Team Venture is reading a copy of Colonel Gentleman’s memoirs. The Action Man tells Colonel Gentleman that he couldn’t believe he had slept with a man named “Kilimanjaro." He also tells him that he had no idea that this “Kilimanjaro” was gay. Colonel Gentleman tells him that Kilimanjaro didn’t know either until he had caught Colonel Gentleman sleeping with two other people. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. comes hovering by and tells them to gather to the next room for a special presentation. Just then, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. notices that the old Team Venture is selling autographs. He asks them if they are really are selling them. The Action Man tells him that they are. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells him that they can’t sell them inside the museum and they're cheapening the memory. Colonel Gentleman tells Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. that they are the memory and that he had noticed his supposed donation box on the way inside the island’s main entrance, and then tells him that unless they get a cut of the money he gets from the donations, he tells him to get Scaramantula by himself.

Scaramantula, somewhere near the old Team Venture, notices Colonel Gentleman talking about his activities to Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. he then calls them cowards. Scaramantula then notices Brainulo has gone out by himself.

Brainulo, hovering by a few people, rants about how Scaramantula is an “incompetent fool," and that there are several other more villainous people at the party that he could team up with. He continues to say that the entire museum is a “psychic powdered keg” and that all he has to do is light the match. He gets close to Billy, who is looking at the Team Venture collectable toys, and attempts to use his psychic abilities on him. He tries to tempt Billy into steeling the old Venture action figures collectables. Brainulo then goes toward Professor Impossible and uses his psychic abilities on him. He tells him that “she doesn’t like him anymore and that she will not again."

Inside the secret stairway, Pirate Captain, along with his fellow pirates, are smoking cigarettes. One pirate tells Pirate Captain that he has to do something about Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. because he can’t take him anymore. Another Pirate tells him that Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. made him refold 800 napkins individually. A third pirate tells Pirate Captain that Dr. Jonas Venture Jr.’s mode of speaking is annoying him the most, because of the way he tells them to do things. Pirate Captain tells them that he fully understands the way they feel about Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., but tells them that Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. is under a lot of pressure and that it’s only going to last for the night. He then tells them that Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. has been good to them. One of the pirates tells him that the situation was better when Pirate Captain was their leader. Pirate Captain tells them that they were stuck on their ship, the Sargasso, for ten years. Another pirate tells him that it was better because they where free for all that time, and that they were true pirates back then. The same pirate tells Pirate Captain that they are nothing but trained monkeys. This pirate continues to say that the biggest monkey of the group is Pirate Captain. He tells him that he meant no disrespect when he said this. Just then Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. calls out for the Pirate Captain. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells him that they are going to take the picture soon, and that he needs him. Pirate Captain gets up and goes to find Dr. Jonas Venture Jr.

Somewhere inside another room, the old Team Venture along with Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. are posing for a picture that resembles a picture that was taken some years ago. Team Venture is posing the exact way they had posed before, but Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. is taking the place of his late father. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. asks Hector, a maintenance man of his, if their poses are correct. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. then calls out for Swifty to get in the photo. Dr. Rusty Venture, who’s there with them, asks his brother where he wants him to be in the picture. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells him that he forgot Dr. Rusty Venture wasn’t in the original picture. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. asks him if he wants to take the picture, because he says he had lost his Captain. Pirate Captain, as he walks into the room, tells Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. that he’s right there. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells Dr. Rusty Venture that it seems he doesn’t need him after all. He tells them that Pirate Captain is a great photographer, but “not a punctual one." Hector hands the camera to Pirate Captain. Pirate Captain tells him that the shutter speed was set way too low. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. notices someone is missing . Dr. Rusty Venture thinks he’s referring to himself, but Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. says that their Ook-Ook is missing. And so he invites Pirate Captain to be their Ook-Ook. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. laughs a bit. Pirate Captain tells Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. that he can “Photoshop” him in later. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells Pirate Captain that it will be fun. Pirate Captain reluctantly goes to pose for the picture and hands the camera to Dr. Rusty Venture. As Pirate Captain goes to his spot, Professor Impossible walks by holding a blue thong. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. asks him to take the picture for them, seeing that he was the man who took the original picture. Professor Impossible says he will. Professor Impossible puts the blue thong he was holding inside his pocket, and Dr. Venture gives him the camera. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. says to hold on for moment and tells Pirate Captain to take his shirt off and to slouch, and that he is supposed to be a caveman. Pirate Captain tells him that he’s not comfortable with that pose. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. grabs Pirate Captain by his clothes and tells him “to be a sport” about it, and that it will be hilarious. Pirate Captain, now very angry with Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., tells him that he’s pushing him too far, and that he’s had all he can take for one day. He tells him that he’s tired of being his trained monkey. Just then, Colonel Gentleman punches Pirate Captain on his eye. Pirate Captain falls down and now has a black eye. Colonel Gentleman tells him that Ook-Ook wasn’t a monkey.

Back inside the secret stairway, where the Pirate Captain’s fellow pirates were smoking cigarettes, Pirate Captain goes inside there again. He tells his fellow pirates that they were right about Dr. Jonas Venture Jr.. He then asks his fellow pirates “who wants to feel like a real pirate again"? The three fellow pirates get up and start to cheer. They get up and leave the stairway. One of the Pirates smothers his cigarette where the old self destruct button is located at, causing it to spark.

Brainulo, inside the museum, attempts to psychically tempt General Manhowers into going to a panic. General Manhowers, who is looking at an exhibition of the museum, along with H.E.L.P.eR., doesn’t seem to be affected. Brainulo attempts to make General Manhowers remember a certain war where people where crying and dying all around him. Brainulo seems to have failed at tempting him. Pete White is then shown looking at an NASA space command module, while Brainulo nears him. Brainulo starts to use his telepathy on him and tells him that he senses what he wants most. He then says out loud that Pete wants to conquer “the mother from Growing Pains” Pete, who hears Brainulo, says that he does want her, especially after seeing her on the episode where this person was inside a bathtub. Brainulo then leaves after he notices Pete overhearing him. Pete then notices someone had seen inside his mind, and he gets disturbed by it. After Pete notices this, Professor Impossible, from a distance away, on a balcony inside the museum on another floor, yells out to Sally. He is now drunk and his attire reverted back to looking like a slob. Brainulo notices him and moves toward where Sally is. Sally is near the balcony on the bottom floor. Brainulo becomes happy over Professor Impossible about to make a scene. Professor Impossible then yells out Sally’s name again, and tells her that he “did it all for her." He then makes the gesture to toast with one arm hanging out with a cup of an alcoholic drink. Professor Impossible then jumps from the balcony and accidentally stumps his foot on it causing him to stretch as he falls down to the bottom floor. Professor Impossible lands on the miniature waterfall and growls in agony. Everyone in the museum starts to look at him, while the pirates are all gathering up and discussing what they are going to do. Brock and Dr. Rusty Venture notice this, and turn around to see what these Pirates are up to. Somewhere else in the room, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. is arguing with Sally. Ned is trying to break the fight up, telling them not to fight. Dr. Rusty Venture asks Brock is “this is going to be one of those things." Brock asks him what he means by that. Dr. Rusty Venture tells him: “You got a bunch of short-fused costumed idiots together in one room like this, what do you think is going to happen?" Dr. Rusty Venture tells Brock that any moment a huge fight is going to happen. Just as Dr. Rusty Venture is telling this to Brock, they observe a few pirates climb a ladder to the top of the building. Brock tells him that that is most likely going to happen. Dr. Rusty Venture then tells Brock that it’s easy to notice these kinds of things when they aren’t happening to him. Brock tells him that he knows the exact same feeling. Brock then walks away.

Hank and Dean are at the waterfall fountain where Professor Impossible landed. Hank continually touches and pokes at Professor Impossible’s suit. Each time he pokes it, Professor Impossible’s suit changes to his fighting attire. Both Hank and Dean giggle while they do this to him. Brock walks by and tells them that they are leaving.

On the balcony, Pirate Captain shouts out to the crowd. He tells them all to listen to him. Everyone starts to stare at him. Pirate Captain tells them that they are going to “take over the ship." One of his fellow pirates jumps from the balcony using a rope and swings across the museum and almost hits one of the attending guests. The old Team Venture is shown watching this happening. The Action Man gets excited over the action they’re witnessing and so Team Venture does their “Go Team Venture” line, and then charge into action. A big fight scene starts off. The Action Man punches a pirate in the stomach. Kano dodges a fork attack from a pirate. Dr. Entmann, who is on Kano’s shoulder, jumps off and pokes the same pirate in the eye with a lance. Colonel Gentleman hits a few pirates with his cane. Billy Quizboy steals the Team Venture memorabilia collection. Ned is swinging a few pirates from his arms. Brainulo, somewhere in the middle of the action, is happy about these people fighting. He gloatingly talks out loud and says to everyone to dance. Swifty is hitting a few pirates with boxing moves. Pirate Captain is shown battling Hector, broom to broom, on top of the balcony.

Someone throws a bottle and hits the projector. The projector starts to play a montage film narrated by Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. about his late father. Everyone starts to calm down to listen and watch this film. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr.’s narrates on the film that he never knew his father, but his memories of him come from the old films he has of him and other objects in display inside the museum. He continues to say that he knows his father because of all his friends who are with him now. During the film’s run, a few people are shown to be doing other stuff as they watch. The Action Man continues to punch a pirate as he watches; at the point in the film where Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. was battling Scaramantula, Scaramantula, in the present day, touches his face and remembers that specific battle. As the film continues to play, Brainulo gets angry that everyone has stopped fighting. Brainulo says out loud that he won’t let Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. defeat him again. Brainulo, again attempts to summon his old robot. Back in the film, Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. is being interviewed by Dick Cavett. The interviewer asks Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. what he thinks is his greatest adventure and what his greatest invention are. Dr. Jonas Venture Sr. tells Cavett that he only has one answer for both questions. He tells him both his greatest adventure and his greatest invention are his son. The film ends, and many people in the museum start to become emotional. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. walks on to the stage holding a microphone. He politely asks Pirate Captain to turn on the lights. Pirate Captain, still located on the balcony and who is now emotional after watching the film, tells him he’ll do it. Back on stage, Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells his guests that his late father still has many things to teach them, and that this is the reason why he built the museum. He continues to say that he built it to spread his father’s message of hope, love and super-science. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. tells his crowd the he would like to ask his brother to say a few words about their father. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. points out into the crowd, all the guest turn around to look for Dr. Rusty Venture, but Dr. Rusty Venture is nowhere to be found.

Inside the hangar inside Spider Skull Island, Brock escorts Dr. Rusty Venture and Hank and Dean to their jet. Dr. Rusty Venture goes reluctantly claiming that he wanted to fight. He tells Brock that he knows Brock likes the type of fight that was going on inside the museum. Brock tells him that he's his bodyguard and not his brother’s, and that Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. can take care of a fight on his own.

Inside the museum, Brainulo is attempting to summon his robot yet again. He tells this robot, out of desperation, to at least lift a foot for him. He then asks him to step on someone. Brainulo tries again to uses his psychic abilities at full force this time, when he does, all the electrical light bulbs on his head bursts, and Brainulo seems to have been injured in the process.

Inside the secret staircase, the self destruct mechanism box again starts to make some sparks, and short circuit. After it makes these sparks, the self destruct countdown, heard at the beginning of the episode continues, restarts to countdown from 19 seconds.

Inside the Museum, everyone hears this countdown, and have a confused look on their faces. Scaramantula is shown to be scared and starts to walk away.

Inside Dr. Rusty Venture’s jet, Dr. Rusty Venture, after hearing the self destruct sequence, compliments Brock for telling them to leave at the best possible time. Brock flies them away from Spider Skull Island.

Inside the secret staircase, Scaramantula tries to shut down the self destruct countdown. Brainulo is there with him and tells him that he says starting the countdown was worth “crapping his pants." Scaramantula gives up on disabling the countdown and tells Brainulo to leave. Scaramantula grabs Brainulo’s hover chair and they both exit and roll down the stairs together.

Back inside Dr. Rusty Venture’s jet, Dr. Rusty Venture tells Brock that they have to go back. Brock asks him what he means. He tells Brock that Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. is family and that he’s in trouble and that he needs them. Brock doesn’t believe one word Dr. Rusty Venture just said. Dr. Rusty Venture stops acting sympathetic and ask Brock if he actually believed him. Brock, laughing, says that he did.

Inside the museum everyone is running around in panic. Professor Impossible, still lying down on the waterfall fountain, gets up and hears the countdown. The female Italian voice counts down to 1, and all the guest then stop running and panicking. Camera pans out to the view of Spider Skull Island from the ocean.

[End Credits]

After the Credits, Spider Skull Island seemed to have not exploded after all. A huge blue blob stopped the explosion from going off inside the museum. Professor Impossible, located inside every corridor inside the museum, seems to have stopped the explosion. Inside the secret staircase, Professor Impossible’s mouth covers where the bomb had detonated. Sally, who is inside the stair case with him and Dr. Jonas Venture Jr., tells him that she witnessed one of the most unselfish things she’s ever seen. Sally then kisses him on the cheek. Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. pats Professor Impossible on the head and tells him thanks and that he’s welcome in his house anytime. Both Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. and Sally walk down the staircase holding hands. When both Dr. Jonas Venture Jr. and Sally walk away, Professor Impossible takes his mouth off where the bomb detonated, and turns himself back to a more regular size. Pirate Captain walks onto the staircase and asks the Professor to tell him the truth. He asks him if he was actually trying to kill himself.
