The Family That Slays Together, Stays Together. Part Two - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The two OSI "lepidopterists," Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder, are walking from inside an OSI building’s hallway toward a room. When Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder arrive at a particular room and open the door, they find an old man with an eye patch doing some exercises. This shirtless man has a pacemaker. The office room they are in is covered with several American flag decorations. Both Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder attempt to tell this man, whom they call General Treister, something, but this man tells them to hold on. General Treister continues to do his exercise, counting from the times he’s been performing them. General Treister stops at the 77th time he’s done the exercise move. After he finishes he slaps his chest and yells out “Bingo." General Treister then asks Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder to throw him his towel. Mr. Cardholder points to the towel, indicating to Mr. Doe to throw it to him. Mr. Doe throws the towel to General Treister. General Treister grabs the towel and tells both OSI agents that he was performing “squat thrusts," and that he does a thrust “one for every year of his life”. Just as he was explaining this to Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder, his machine in on his chest, which seems to be a heart monitor or some sort of advanced heart bypass or artificial heart, begins to flat line and stops blinking green. As this machine stops monitoring, General Treister, as he taps it, threatens this machine that it had better start working soon or if it doesn’t he’ll “nail it to the wall inside the ladies room." The machine on his chest begins to work again. He tells it that he knew it could do it.

General Treister asks Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder what he can help them with, and then asks them if they are here to wrestle him. Mr. Doe tells the General that they aren’t there to wrestle him but to inform them of a specific agent. Mr. Doe tells him that it’s about agent number “92-62." General Treister instantly recognizes the agent they're referring to: Brock Samson. He tells them that Brock is going to give him another heart attack, then mentions he’s had nine heart attacks in his life. He then asks the two OSI agents what Brock has done this time. Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder tell him that Brock has killed the OSI’s top list of assassins. General Treister, outraged, tells them that this news is a pain in his butt, and then asks them who got killed. Mr. Doe lifts up his hand and shows him a DVD. Mr. Doe then walks toward a set of monitors located on a wall inside his office. General Treister yells out to him not to use the monitor: he has that TV set to record “Battlestar Galactica," he then mentions a main character in the series, “Number Six," and tells them that he has a thing for her. After he mentions this character’s name, Mr. Doe looks behind his shoulder, while Mr. Cardholder smiles, and General Treister tells them not to blame him for liking her. Mr. Doe then heads toward another monitor and puts his DVD inside of it.

The second top screen out of the six screens on the wall begins to show the OSI top three assassin’s video list. The video begins with Herr Trigger’s profile. Mr. Cardholder tells General Treister that his body was found on the side of a strip club in a dumpster. Mr. Doe says that he was apparently a “bad tipper." The video changes to the next assassin’s profile, Go-Fish. Mr. Cardholder tells General Treister that Go-Fish was an “at sea” assassin, and that he was found washed up at a “bubbling beach." Mr. Doe tells him that they are still waiting to find out about his head’s whereabouts. The video then changes to the next assassin’s profile, which was Le Tueur. Mr. Cardholder tells General Treister that Le Tueur was a big game hunter, and that he is presumed dead. Mr. Doe tells General Treister that Le Tueur hasn’t answered any of his cell phone calls. Mr. Cardholder tells General Treister that if he’d met Le Tueur in person he’d understand what a cell phone meant to him.

The video presentation ends. General Treister then touches his beard, walks around his office and tells the two OSI agents that there has been too much killing already. He then tells them that at his age they would “drop the curtains” on the man they were looking for before they “punched the man’s top clock." General Treister tells them that they have to put an end to “this small town talent show” themselves. He then tells them that it’s gone on too long already. Mr. Doe asks him what their next move is. He tells them: “Hey squad vanquisher. Talk to the addict with a salt doohickey. And daddy’s going to sit in the big chair” After General Treister says this, both Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder seem to have fully understood him and tell him “Yes sir” at the same time. He then tells Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder that he’s going to make sure they get rid of the “Samson problem himself, ASAP." General Trelster, lost in the moment, tells them both to “move out." He then jogs out of his office without a shirt on. Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder stay inside the room as General Treister leaves, then turn around and look at each other, confused. General Treister walks back into his office, and tells them that he thinks he should get dressed first.

Brock and Dr. Venture, who are wearing orange jumpsuit and are handcuffed, are being interrogated by the undercover LAPD officers (detectives) that had found them inside the motel room covered in Le Tueur’s blood. One of the two officers, the well-built one, punches Brock on his face. Brock spits out a wad of blood and begins to laugh. Brock stops laughing and tells the two officers that they will never get him to talk, calling them pigs. The well-built offices tells Brock and Dr. Venture that they had found them at the crime scene covered in the victim’s blood with the murder weapon on the floor. This officer then tells Brock, calling him “Tralfaz," that he has to begin talking or else he’ll be facing up to twenty years in prison for the murder he committed. Dr. Venture raises his hand and asks this officer if he can say something. Dr. Venture tells the officers that he isn’t really with him. The well-built officer then slaps Dr. Venture on the face with the back of his hand. The skinny officer begins to ask Brock what his fake name, Tralfaz, means. He asks him if Tralfaz is Polish. Brock tells him that “Tralfaz” is Spanish for “Go fuck yourselves." After Brock insults the officers, Dr. Venture nods toward Brock and tells the officers that he doesn’t speak for both of them. The well-built officer then raises his hand and slaps Dr. Venture first on his head, then followed by Brock on his head, with one swoop of his hand. Meanwhile the skinny officer tells Brock that he doesn’t believe that “Tralfaz” is Spanish for “Go fuck yourselves," and tells Brock that his wife speaks some Spanish, and that he’s going to call her to find out what it means. As the skinny officer takes out his cell phone, the well-built officer comes along and slaps his phone right off of his hands. The skinny officer asks his partner why he did that. The well-built officer tells him he’s sorry, but then tells him that they should get back to questioning the suspects. After they finish arguing, Dr. Venture sarcastically asks the two officers if they are doing the “bad cop, retarded cop routine” on them.

Inside another interrogation room, a police psychologist is evaluating Hank and Dean. Dean, crying, and with a red dash near his mouth, begins to crack under pressure. He tells this psychologist that he’ll tell him everything he knows about the situation. Dean then eats a red licorice stick he was holding. A bowl of red liquorish sticks is then shown to be resting on the table. Hank, embarrassed with the way his brother is handling the situation, tells the police psychologist that he’d like his own council. The psychiatrist tells Dean that he isn’t under arrest. The psychologist pulls the bowl of red licorice away from Dean’s side of the table and hands him a handkerchief. Dean grabs the handkerchief and starts to clean his tears and the red licorice gash. The psychologist tells them that he only wants to ask them a few questions. He then tells them that they should start by talking about the person that they keep mentioning, whom they refer to as “Brock." He asks them who this person is. Dean tells him that Brock is their bodyguard, and that he protects them. The psychologist asks Dean if Brock speaks to them. Dean tells him that “of course” he speaks to them. The psychiatrist asks them if Brock speaks to both of them. Hank sarcastically tells him that he does. The psychologist asks them if Brock ever tell them what to do. Dean nods his head while Hank tells him that he does sometimes. The psychologist asks them about their robot friend (H.E.L.P.eR.), and asks them if he speaks to them as well.

H.E.L.P.eR. is shown to be tied up, blindfolded and badly beaten up. As H.E.L.P.eR. beeps in a sad tone, someone throws a bucket of water to his face. The captors are revealed to be the Monarch and his two henchmen inside their floating Cocoon Fortress. After Number 24 throws the bucket of water to H.E.L.P.eR.’s face, the Monarch walks by and tells H.E.L.P.eR. that he has had his last chance. He then menacingly asks H.E.L.P.eR. where Dr. Venture is. H.E.L.P.eR. beeps a bit. The Monarch gets close to him and looks at him. The Monarch, not understanding what H.E.L.P.eR. had just said, gets back up and asks Number 24 if he told them Dr. Venture’s location or not. Number 24 tells him he thinks that H.E.L.P.eR. was being sarcastic. H.E.L.P.eR. begins to beep again. Number 21, holding a dart rifle, tells the Monarch that it seems to be an “upwards” reflection, and that it doesn’t really seem like H.E.L.P.eR.’s giving them any directions. The Monarch, in a menacing tone of voice, threatens H.E.L.P.eR. to tell them something useful about Dr. Venture’s whereabouts or they will break something of his. He then asks H.E.L.P.eR. if he understood him. H.E.L.P.eR. again begins to beep. The Monarch gets back up and nods to Number 21 indicating to him that it’s okay for him to hit H.E.L.P.eR. Number then accidentally knocks H.E.L.P.eR.’s head off with when he clubs him with his dart rifle. The Monarch complains to Number 21, telling him sarcastically what a great move he just did. Number 21 throws his gun the floor, and realizes his mistake, he yells out that he thinks he had just busted H.E.L.P.eR. Number goes toward H.E.L.P.eR. and excuses himself over his mistake to the Monarch. He explains to the Monarch that he barely tapped H.E.L.P.eR. The Monarch, angry with Number 21, yells at Number 21 telling him not to apologize. The Monarch tells him that H.E.L.P.eR. now knows that they are being serious with them. The Monarch, threatening H.E.L.P.eR. again, tells him to tell him the location of Dr. Venture, or else they’ll do something to him again. Before the Monarch could finish, Number 21 continues the Monarch threat by telling H.E.L.P.eR. that they will knock off his head. The Monarch, now completing the threat, tells H.E.L.P.eR. that they will knock his head off again and this time it will be intentional.

Back inside the interrogation room where Brock and Dr. Venture are being held, the well-built officer asks Brock what his relationship was with Le Tueur. Brock tells him that he had never heard of a man named Le Tueur. The well-built officer tells Brock that he’ll try to refresh his memory. He begins to tell Brock about the dead man inside of his motel room wearing dead animals as a costume. The skinny officer tells Brock to have “good luck picking up that spare." The well-built officer asks his partner what he meant. The skinny officer tells him that since Brock cut Le Tueur in half, it’s like a 7-10 split in bowling, but with a guy instead of bowling pins. The well-built officer tells him that what he just said was downright “esoteric." Brock, mocking the well-built officer, tells him that he understood the comparison right away. The well-built officer punches Brock on the face again and tells him to shut his mouth. Dr. Venture asks the officers if they are going to keep hitting them every time they speak. The skinny officer then slaps Dr. Venture on his face. Dr. Venture takes this as an answer and asks the skinny officer if this means that it’s “every time they speak."

Back inside the interrogation room where Dean and Hank are being held inside, Hank, frustrated, tells the police psychologist that he’ll tell him everything about them. Hank first takes in a deep breath, then asks the psychologist if he can give him one of his cigarettes. The psychologist tells him no. Hank, then grabs a licorice stick and begins to smoke it as if it were a cigarette. The psychologist rights down in his notebook “Oral Fixation." Among other things listed on his notebook are: “Venture Hank & Dean: -Paranoid Delusions –Arrested Development –Crybaby -Oral Fixation." Hank then takes out the licorice stick out of his mouth, and breaths out. Hank begins to tell the psychologist about their situation. He says he and his family have been on the run, chased by an elite squad of super assassins that have been trying to kill their bodyguard since days before. The psychologist nods his head. Hank tells him that if they don’t let them go and help him, Brock will probably be dead by tomorrow. The psychologist sarcastically tells Hank that his story is fascinating. The psychologist asks Hank to continue talking about the “giant butterfly” he had previously mentioned. As he mentions this he writes down on his notebook “-Stockholm Syndrome." Hank, angry and annoyed, slams his hands on the table and tells him that they already told him what they know, and demands him to give him his phone call. The psychologist gives in, and tells Hank and Dean that this moment is a good time to take a break. He then asks Hank who he would like to talk to. Before the psychologist stops, Hank reaches toward his com-watch and attempts to call his father. He tells his father that the psychologist is a “tool." Dr. Venture, inside his interrogation room and listing in to what his son had told him, begins to laugh. The well-built officer shoves Dr. Venture’s hand unto the table. Dr. Venture, in mild pain, tells the officer that what he did him just now hurt, and explains to him that he has delicate joints. After Dr. Venture tells this to him, two SWAT come into the interrogation room telling the undercover officers that Brock and Dr. Venture are free to leave. One of the two SWAT officers tells the undercover detectives to un-cuff Brock and Dr. Venture. The skinny detective that was interrogating Brock and Dr. Venture complains and asks this SWAT officer why they are letting them go. The SWAT officer explains to them that since there is no dead body, there is no case. He then tells him that the investigation is over. The well-built detective, confused and angry, asks this SWAT officer what he’s talking about when he says there wasn’t a body. He argues that the motel room they found Dr. Venture and Brock in looked like the set from “Saw I," meaning it was filled with blood and gory. The SWAT officer tells him that they found the room like if it were cleaned by “Martha Stewart." He tells him that they couldn’t find “dick” inside of it, only a “lemony fresh kind of odor." The other SWAT officer sniffs and tells his partner that he can still smell the lemon scent.

Just then, someone behind him squirts a bottle of some solvent to this SWAT officer’s face. The SWAT officer screams and his face almost instantly dissolves. The other SWAT officer turns around and sees his partner’s head melting. This SWAT officer becomes frightened over his appearance. The man who squirted the solvent comes into the room and squirts his solvent at the other SWAT officer. This SWAT officer falls down as his face melts off. This bald man, wearing goggles and a white t-shirt with white pants, then points his two solvent bottles at the two detectives. The well-built detective attempts to draw and shoot his gun, but the bald man shoots his solvent to this detective’s hands and face. The well-built detective’s hand and face begin to melt. He then falls to the ground. The skinny detective begs for his life and covers his head with his hands, but the bald man squirts one of his bottles at this detective’s head. The skinny detective’s hands start to melt, then his head. The detective then falls to the ground. The man wearing white turns around and points his two bottles of solvent toward Brock, but then squirts the bottle toward Brock’s and Dr. Venture’s handcuffs, melting their handcuffs away. Both Dr. Venture and Brock look at each other’s hands. Brock then asks him rhetorically if he’s “The Cleaner." The Cleaner smiles at Brock, revealing strangely white teeth that sparkle as he smiled.

Back inside the Monarch’s Cocoon Fortress, the Monarch and his henchmen have put jumper cables on H.E.L.P.eR.’s eyes. The Monarch, as he taunts H.E.L.P.eR., tells him that they had played it nice with him. He then asks him again for Dr. Venture's location. H.E.L.P.eR. nods his head telling him no. the Monarch tells H.E.L.P.eR. that he has three seconds to tell him. The Monarch begins to countdown as he paces around. When the Monarch counts down to one, he tells Number 24, who is standing near a box and a car battery holding the other side of the jumper cables and wearing rubber gloves, to light H.E.L.P.eR. up. Number 24 asks him if he should connect the positive side of the battery first or the negative side. The Monarch tells him that it doesn’t matter, because it’s not like H.E.L.P.eR. is a “Mitsubishi Gallant." He then orders Number 24 to just do what he was ordered to do. Just as Number 24 was about to put both the jumper cables to the battery at the same time, Dr. Mrs. the Monarch walks into the room they were all located inside of and asks them what they are doing to H.E.L.P.eR. Number 24 briefly puts the cables to the battery and mildly shocks himself. He then takes the jumper cables out of the battery. The Monarch tells his wife that they were just asking H.E.L.P.eR. a few things. Dr. Mrs. the Monarch passes right past the Monarch and heads toward H.E.L.P.eR.. She takes out the cables that were hooked on his eyes and gives H.E.L.P.eR. a hug. As she hugs him, she calls it a poor sweet thing, and asks him if the Monarch hurt him. H.E.L.P.eR. beeps for a while. After H.E.L.P.eR. stops beeping, Dr. Mrs. the Monarch informs the Monarch that his torturing of H.E.L.P.eR. goes against the Guild’s “Sentient conference of 1998," and that they have to take him back to his family. Dr. Mrs. the Monarch, talking to H.E.L.P.eR., tells him that his family must miss him, and tells him that they’ll find them and get him to safely. H.E.L.P.eR. beeps again and then begins to print a form out of his chest. The paper prints out the numbers: “33.93 118.40." Dr. Mrs. the Monarch takes the sheet of paper that H.E.L.P.eR. had just printed out of his chest, and then looks at H.E.L.P.eR. She then pushes H.E.L.P.eR.’s head away and hands the piece of paper to Number 24. She tells him to run the numbers H.E.L.P.eR. had printed out onto their NavCon computer. Number 24 walks away. Dr. Mrs. the Monarch tells them that she knows it’s somewhere in California. Dr. Mrs. the Monarch then walks toward the Monarch and tells him that H.E.L.P.eR. had gotten grease all over her dress. She wipes off her costume, and the Monarch begins to give her a big hug. The Monarch tells her that her “good cop” routine is “chilly’. Number 21 tells them that Dr. Mrs. the Monarch action where “hot." Correcting himself, being aware of what he said is incriminating and also awkward, adds to the word “hot," “hot cup." H.E.L.P.eR. beeps in a sad way and lowers his head.

Somewhere on a roadway/bridge crossing in California, Dr. Venture, Hank, Dean and Brock, along with The Cleaner, go on the run from the cops. The Cleaner tells Brock that where they currently are is as far as he will go with them, and there's a rental car waiting for him a quarter mile from their present location. He then puts his hand on Brock's shoulder and tells him that there are keys and a new identification inside the glove compartment. He then wishes Brock good luck. Brock, looking at the Cleaner’s hand on his shoulder, tells him that he only has one problem with this plan. He tells him that Hank never called him. Brock takes out his knife and points at the Cleaner’s neck as he holds him down. Just as Brock finishes accusing the Cleaner of wrongdoing, Molotov Cocktease tells Brock that she’s the one who called him. Brock turns and sees Molotov sitting on the edge of a red convertible car, wearing hip-hop genre style of clothing and a different hairstyle. She tells Brock that she figured Brock would have some trouble fighting the entire OSI alone. Brock lets go of the Cleaner and heads toward Molotov. Brock tells her that he doesn’t know why he’s surprised to see here, and that she’s helping him. He then asks her how she found them. Molotov tells him that he hasn’t been discrete with his actions. Brock mentions to Molotov that she doesn’t look discrete either, referring to her outfit. Brock admits to her that for a disguise, he thinks it looks good on her, because he hardly recognizes her. Molotov hesitates in replying, and then tells him that it isn’t a disguise, and that she’s off duty. Brock laughs, and jokingly asks her if that’s how she dresses when she’s not “Catwomaning around." He then jokingly tells her that he might have to re-think there entire relationship. Hank, who is a few feet away, asks his brother who that “hood-rat” Brock is talking to is. He then notes that Brock can get any “shorty” he wants.

Everyone then notices the Monarch’s Cocoon hovering near them, turning its lights on, searching for Dr. Venture. Brock, as he looks at the Cocoon, asks Molotov if the Monarch is one of her friends. Brock then calls out to Molotov who hasn’t responding to his question. Brock turns around and sees Molotov driving away with the Cleaner. The Cleaner points a finger in the air as he drives off with Molotov. The Monarch uses his Cocoon’s PA to call out to Dr. Venture from inside the cocoon. He tells him to come out from hiding saying: “Come out, come out wherever you are." Team Venture heads under a bridge to hide. Inside the Cocoon, Dr. Mrs. the Monarch attempts to tell the Monarch about what he just said was really “cliché." But the Monarch interrupts her and finishes off what she was about to say, he also tells her that he knows that it is was very cliché, but then tells her that it gets creepy over their PA system. The Monarch gets out of his thrown and walks toward somewhere. Back outside, Hank, Dean, Brock, and Dr. Venture head toward under the bridge. Dr. Venture receives a com-watch call from the Monarch. The villain tells him that he hopes he doesn’t mind him calling him via his com-watch, and that his robot gave it to him. The Monarch then laughs. Via the com-watch’s screen, H.E.L.P.eR. is shown tied up wearing a dark cloth over his head, while Number 21 wears an executioner’s mask and holds up a dart gun. The Monarch threats him by telling him if he wants to see H.E.L.P.eR. alive ever again, he has to surrender himself to him. Dr. Venture, confused, looks at Brock and asks him if he thinks the Monarch is serious. The Monarch tells him that he’s dead serious. He then tells Dr. Venture that he has exactly one minute to surrender himself to him. Number 24 interrupts him and tells him that he figured out how to use the night vision on his camera. He tells the Monarch that it looks sort of like x-ray vision without the lights on. The Monarch heads toward the camera, looking somewhat angry. Brock then receives an incoming signal from his com-watch. The person on the other line is General Treister. General Treister angrily asks Brock what the he thinks he’s doing. Brock, still talking to him as though he still is his superior officer, tells him that he’s “still breathing," and that it’s no thanks to him. General Treister tells him that he’s looking fine. He then tells him that he’s glad he cut his hair off, like the OSI regulations require. Brock interrupts him and tells him to cut the crap and get back on subject. He then asks him what he wants from him. General Treister tells him that the OSI wants him to come back, telling him: “The OSI wants you to come in from the cold, sir. High fashion they get a little pow-wow." General Treister begins to act like a stereotypic Native American Indian, and begins to yell. He then tells him that it’s time to put an end to this situation. Brock tells him that they are way past this form of negotiation. General Treister tells him not to pull the “First Blood” routine on him, and reminds him that he has a family to think about. He then asks Brock how long he thinks they are all going to last out in the wilderness alone with them. Brock tells him that they aren’t part of his situation, and tells him that he doesn’t want them harmed. General Treister tells Brock that they won’t be harmed if he does as OSI tells him to do. General Treister tells Brock that he should just give him his current coordinates like a good soldier.

Back at Dr. Venture’s conversation with the Monarch, the Monarch reminds Dr. Venture that he has twenty seconds remaining. He then asks him what his final decision is going to be. The Monarch begins to countdown from 19 seconds remaining. Brock grabs Dr. Venture’s hand and tells the Monarch, and General Treister, both at the same time, that he’ll give them what they want. Brock then demands that the transfer goes as he says it does. Brock tells them his demand, he tells them that they all have to meet him at the Venture Compound at dawn. Brock then turns off his and Dr. Venture’s com-watches after he tells them his demands. Hank becomes excited over Brock mentioning the word “Dawn." He tells Dean that they are finally going to meet their long lost sister.

The next morning at the Venture Compound, the Monarch’s Cocoon arrives hovering at the Compound’s gates, then landing on the front lawn. Inside the Cocoon, Dr. Mrs. the Monarch lies down on her throne sleeping. Several other henchmen are also sleeping at their posts. The Monarch wakes up and then wakes up everyone else. The Monarch informs them that they’ve arrived at the Compound. The Monarch then tells his henchmen to gather round.

Underneath the Monarch’s Cocoon, Brock leaps and helps Dean, Hank and Dr. Venture get out of the Cocoon’s bottom compartment, where they stowed away. As he helps Hank, Dean and Dr. Venture out of the Cocoon, Brock tells them all to stay low as he orders them to run inside to the panic room. Hank complains to Brock about Brock telling them to head inside the panic room every time something remotely cool happens. Hank runs off, and yells out that it isn’t fair. As Dr. Venture gets out of the Cocoon, he asks Brock if he could at least allow him to go change first. He tells him that the orange jumpsuit is the most uncomfortable thing he’s ever worn.

Inside the Cocoon, the Monarch recites a prepared speech he had planned to recite before the day’s battle. He tells his henchman that that day is a day that will live on in the anoles of Monarch history. He continues to say something about “marching on with the sun on their backs," but is interrupted by a henchman that notices Hank Dean and Dr. Venture, heading inside the Venture house’s front door. The Monarch, in a bit of rage, darts this man in the mouth with several tranquilizer rounds. This henchman falls to the ground. The Monarch tells them all not to interrupt him while he’s giving out a speech. He then tauntingly asks the henchman he darted if he’s happy now, seeing that he isn’t going to be able to go on the “murder crusade." Dr. Mrs. the Monarch interrupts him and asks him what they are all doing on the compound, because she tells him that she thinks it’s an obvious trap. The Monarch tells her that she knows it’s a trap, but then asks her who is trapping whom. He touches his wife’s nose, and tells her that he took the liberty of upgrading H.E.L.P.eR.’s equipment with “two gigabytes of Kablam." The Monarch lifts up a remote detonator and shows it to his wife.

Back where H.E.L.P.eR. is being held captive, H.E.L.P.eR. frees himself by activating his drill saw and cutting throw his bondage. H.E.L.P.eR., severely dripping his oil, falls down head first from his seat. It is revealed that H.E.L.P.eR. has explosives tied to his back.

At the backyard of the Venture Compound, an OSI jet lands near the Compound’s facilities. Inside the OSI jet, General Treister, Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder are all at the helm. General Treister says he's in the big chair now.

Inside the Venture Compound, Brock arrives at the Compound’s surveillance room. Brock notices that he arrived just on schedule. General Treister appears on one of the screens. General Treister, yelling at Brock, asks Brock if they are ready to do the exchange. Just as General Treister finishes speaking, the Monarch appears on another screen. The Monarch says hello, but to Dr. Venture, who isn’t in the room. Brock tells General Treister to hold on for a moment. General Treister, annoyed, begins to complain to Brock. Brock cuts the communication between himself and General Treister. Inside of his OSI Jet, General Treister asks Mr. Doe and Mr. Cardholder if Brock had just put him on hold. Back inside of the Compound’s surveillance room, the Monarch, still on the screen tells Brock (still referring to Dr. Venture) that his “fancy new plane” won’t save him now. The plane he’s referring to is the OSI’s, but the Monarch doesn’t know this. The Monarch continues to say that they are going to “duke it out” this day “once and for all." Inside the Monarch’s Cocoon, the Monarch views Brock on his view screen. Brock tells the Monarch that he couldn’t agree with him more. He then tells him to come around the Compound and say hello to them personally. The Monarch tells him that he’d be delighted to. The view screen turns off, and Dr. Mrs. the Monarch reminds the Monarch, pleading with him, that they don’t know what this new jet can do. The Monarch reminds her that they have henchmen for things like that. The Monarch then steers his Cocoon and flies toward the OSI jet located on the backyard of the Venture Compound. The Monarch, trying to reassure his wife, reminds her that they are talking about “Rusty Venture," and not the OSI. He then tells her that anything Dr. Venture throws at them, they can throw back at him tenfold.

Back inside the Compound’s surveillance room, Brock sits down at the control panel lighting up a cigarette. He then flips on the screen where he was talking to General Treister. Brock tells General Treister that he’s sorry for putting him on hold for so long. General Treister asks him if he was just “tying his boots." He then asks Brock if he’s going to get out, or if they are going to have to march inside the Compound and get him by force. Brock tells him that it won’t be necessary because he’s coming out now. Brock looks at one of the other screens on the surveillance panel, and notices some of the Monarch’s henchmen getting out of the Cocoon. Some of the OSI’s ground forces are already out of their jet waiting for Brock to arrive, but are surprised to see the battalion of the Monarch’s henchmen coming in and attacking them. The Monarch’s henchmen begin to shoot dart rounds at the well-armored OSI troops, which repel the darts. The OSI troop leader notifies General Treister via radio that they are being attacked, and requests the General to give him orders. General Treister tells his troops to fire. The OSI troops begin to open fire and coordinate attacks on the Monarch’s henchmen.

Back inside the Monarch’s Cocoon, the Monarch looks on as he notices all of his henchmen go down fighting. All of the henchmen who were recording there action via camera go down as well. One by one the Monarch loses his signal that was being transmitted by these henchman. His view screen stops showing the images from the battlefield. The Monarch, surprised, asks who the men that are doing battle with his henchmen are.

Inside the OSI jet, Mr. Cardholder tells General Treister that these men doing battle with their troops are henchmen working for the Monarch. General Treister asks his fellow OSI agents what a Monarch is. Mr. Doe informs General Treister that the Monarch is a low level Guild trouble maker, who use to arch Dr. [Rusty] Venture, but then arched Dr. [Jonas] Venture [Jr.]. Brock, via communicator, taunts General Treister asking him if the way he’s treating the Monarch’s henchmen is any way to treat Brock's “friends." General Treister, surprised, asks Brock if these henchmen are with him. General Treister then yells at Brock, asking him what is going on. Brock tells him that he’s only trying to even up the playing field. Mr. Cardholder tells General Treister that it seems like Brock has switched allegiances and joined the Guild. Mr. Doe then asks General Treister if he wants to give out the order to take out the big cocoon. General Treister becomes surprised over the revelation of finding out what the cocoon actually was. He asks Mr. Doe if that thing was actually a cocoon. General Treister, getting back on subject, then tells Dr. Doe that he doesn’t want to take down the cocoon yet. He explains to them that if Brock had actually switched sides, there is no telling what information he has leaked to the Guild. He then tells them that he wants Brock alive. General Treister then calls out to his ground force. [The screen divides into two parts] The Monarch, inside of his cocoon, calls for his henchmen. Both General Treister and the Monarch say at the same time: “form battle squadron and prepare for full assault on my order." [divided screen ends]

Inside the Monarch’s cocoon, the Monarch’s henchmen all run out of the cocoon. Dr. Mrs. the Monarch tells the Monarch that they should just leave. The Monarch asks her to stop. He then calls on to the Moppets and asks them to prepare his “Death’s Head Panoply” (?).

Somewhere inside the Cocoon, H.E.L.P.eR. opens a door and begins to crawl out of it. As he crawls out of it, he notices Monarch’s henchmen run away outside the corridor he was attempting to get into. H.E.L.P.eR. quickly moves back inside the room he was in without being detected. All the henchmen move out. H.E.L.P.eR. attempts to leave again.

Inside the Venture Compound’s panic room, Hank looks out of the room’s door window. He hears something rattling outside the room. He calls out to his father, who is also inside the panic room with him and Dean, and tells him there’s something outside the room. Dr. Venture tells Hank to sit down and to pretend to be sane. Dr. Venture then turns around and sees Dean acting strange. Dean is then shown crouching with one hands holding his heart area and the other arm hanging down. Dean tells his father that he can’t feel his left arm. He then asks them how old someone has to be to have a heart attack. Hank tells him it depends; he then sarcastically asks him if he’s referring to “regular years or pansy years." Dean tells him it doesn’t matter. Dean, as he sits down on a corner of the panic room’s door, asks aloud, complaining, why they can’t just have a normal life. Dean then holds his head down begins to nervously shake as though he is panicking. Dr. Venture tells Dean that he had once felt the way he feels. Just as Dr. Venture tells this to Dean, Sgt. Hatred appears on the panic room’s door, knocking it and asking them to open the door. Dean then becomes startled and tells his father that it’s Sgt. Hatred at the door. Dr. Venture asks aloud what he’s doing inside the Venture Compound. Dr. Venture then runs to hide himself. Hank opens the door for Sgt. Hatred. Dean complains to his brother for opening the door. He then reminds him that Sgt. Hatred is their father’s archenemy. Hank tells him that it’s technically true but only on paper. Sgt. Hatred drops to the floor just as the door opens. Sgt. Hatred, either drunk or depressed, says hello to Hank and Dean. He then asks them where their father is. Hank tells him that he’s hiding behind a few boxes, and that he’s hiding from him. Dr. Venture comes out from hiding, and sarcastically thanks Hank. Sgt. Hatred gets up and goes toward Dr. Venture. He then tells Dr. Venture that he has to kill him. He explains to Dr. Venture that he’s been inside the Compound for two days attempting to commit suicide but had failed. He tells him that he even tried to shoot himself with a shrinking gun, but instead made his tongue small. He shows Dr. Venture his tongue, which has shrunken several sizes. He cries and tells Dr. Venture he’s a failure. Sgt. Hatred then backs off and sees Dean sitting on the floor. Sgt. Hatred then asks what happened to him. Hank tells him that Dean is having a heart attack. Sgt. Hatred, yelling at Dean, tells him that he doesn’t know anything about “heart pain." Dean looks up at him. Sgt. Hatred continues by saying that he tried to change, tried to quit the sauce, the cigars, the “young boys," and she, referring to his wife, still left him. Sgt. Hatred then begins to cry louder. Dean asks Sgt. Hatred politely to stop yelling. Dr. Venture agrees with Dean and tells Sgt. Hatred this as well. Sgt. Hatred turns around, and grabs Dr. Venture and starts to shake him as he begs him to kill him.

Back on the backyard of the Venture Compound, the Monarch’s henchmen and the OSI’s troops are prepared to face off. Both groups of troops stand in formation ready to fight as they look to one another. Brock, sitting down comfortably inside the Venture Compound’s surveillance room, tells the Monarch’s troops to “attack," though he knowingly does this just make General Treister call out his troops to attack first. Inside the OSI jet, General Treister hears Brock’s orders and also tells his troops to attack. Inside the Monarch’s Cocoon, the moppets are helping the Monarch fit into some armor he wants to put on. The Monarch then holds up his radio and calls out to his henchmen to attack. Both sets of troops run toward each other. A group of the Monarch’s henchmen comes flying out from the Cocoon, while some OSI troops come jumping out of their jet using personal jet pack, and some also use personal ground vehicles. Both sets of troops commence the first round of the fight. At the beginning of the fight, both troops seem to be evenly matched with the Monarch’s henchmen holding their own throughout the fight, though later they are being dominated by the OSI troops.

Inside the Monarch’s cocoon inside the Monarch’s personal hanger bay, Numbers 21 and 24 are sitting inside the Monarch Mobile, hiding from the fight. Both Numbers 21 and 24 are hearing the battle go on through inside the car. Number 21, eating tortilla chips and salsa, asks Number 24 if he wants some. Number 21 tells him that they aren’t only cool they are also ranch. Number 24, wearing his seatbelt, tells him that he really wants some. After number 24 grabs a few chips, Number 24 sees Number 21 fisting his mouth and face full of Doritos and salsa sauce. He then asks him why he’s doing that. Number 21 tells him that he’s creating “realistic battle damage” so when they join them at the end of the fight it’ll look like they did something, like fight, during the battle. Number 24 tells him that it looks like he rubbed “snack” on his face. Number 24 then hears some noises coming from the battlefield. He then asks Number 21 if he heard that noise. Number 21, also hearing noises and fights coming from the battlefield, asks Number 24 if he heard the person’s scream coming from the fight. He then tries to locate the person’s voice and continues to tell Number 24 that he thinks this person is on fire. After Number 21 stops talking, both Numbers 21 and 24 see H.E.L.P.eR. going inside the Monarch Mobile’s front seat. Number 24 yells out to Number 21 that H.E.L.P.eR. is stealing their hiding place. Number 21 tells Number 24 to bail out of the car. Number 21 jumps out of the car and lands on the ground. Number 21 then looks behind him and sees Number 24 still inside the car. Number 21 then tells Number 24 to hurry up and get out of the car. Number 24, as he struggles to get out, tells Number 21 that he can’t get out because his seatbelt is jammed. Number 21 asks him why he buckled his seatbelt in the first place. He continues to ask him why he would do this. Number 24, scared, tells him in a frightened voice that he doesn’t know. H.E.L.P.eR. starts the car up, and begins to drive off. As the car drives off, Number 21 yells at him several times again asking Number 24 why he “buckled up."

Inside the Compound’s panic room, Dr. Venture attempts to strangle Sgt. Hatred. Sgt. Hatred, who is on the ground, yells out to Dr. Venture to choke him. He complains and fusses over how weak Dr. Venture is. He pleads with Dr. Venture to strangle his pain away. Dr. Venture tells Sgt. Hatred that it isn’t a big deal that his “teen bride” had left him. He then asks him if that is really worth ending his life over. As Dr. Venture tells this to him, Dr. Venture gets up and sees Hank about to open the panic room’s door. Dr. Venture asks him what he thinks he’s doing. Hank, shirtless and using his shirt as a head rag, also holding an umbrella, opens the door and tells his father that he’s going outside to help Brock. He tells him that Brock needs him. Sgt. Hatred compares Hank to his father and says aloud that Hank isn’t even come close to his father, and continues to say that Hank has guts. Dr. Venture, not pleased with his comparison, tells Sgt. Hatred that he doesn’t know him. He then continues to say that when he was in his prime, he would do things that would make his head spin. Sgt. Hatred tells Dr. Venture that he saw a guy’s head spin right off from his head. He continues to say that he saw this because he had punched said person’s head. He then asks Dr. Venture to top his accomplishment. Dr. Venture tells him that his father, the late Dr. Jonas Venture Sr., made him kill a man with a house key. Sgt. Hatred tells him that that was nothing compared to him eating an entire Labrador Retriever. He tells Dr. Venture that he’s serious about having eaten it. Hank then interrupts them and complains to them over their “bests” match. Hank continues to tell them that they have to do something. He then reminds his father about their current situation. He begins by saying that Brock is being attacked by his own friends (the OSI), and that his real archenemy (the Monarch) is trying to kill them, and that he is arguing over “war stories” with a guy who wants to kill himself (Sgt. Hatred). Sgt. Hatred turns to Dr. Venture and tells him that he likes Hank’s attitude. He then tells him that Hank has point. Dr. Venture tells him that he’s crazy. Dean, shivering in the corner, tells them that Hank is going to get them killed. Sgt. Hatred tells Dr. Venture and Dean that Hank has a point. He continues by saying to look over at their current situation. He tells them that they are hiding from their “true selves." He then tells them that he’s a fighter and not a lover. Sgt. Hatred then tells Dr. Venture who he used to be. He reminds him that he used to be Rusty Venture." He grabs Hank and tells him that his father use to be “one of the most fearless boy adventurers ever." Dr. Venture, annoyed, corrects him and tells him “he was the most fearless boy adventurer." Sgt. Hatred tells Dr. Venture that Hank is becoming a man. Hank tells them that he can feel it in his bones. Hatred then switches to Dean, he attempts to compliment Dean but can’t find something to say. Dr. Venture tells him that Dean is “sensitive." Sgt. Hatred tells Dr. Venture that Dean will come around eventfully in the future. Sgt. Hatred pulls up his pants and tells them to get outside and start fighting, by telling them to “show those frail flowers who the hell they’re dealing with." Dr. Venture tells Sgt. Hatred to try to pretend that that is a good idea, and tells him that they would need an army to do this. Hank tells his father that they have one. Dr. Venture looks at Hank and tells him that they are only four people. He then corrects himself after turning around and seeing Dean lying on the floor afraid, by saying that there are only three and a half of them. Hank tells him that they’re be more of them if he’d let him open his “Christmas gifts” early. Dr. Venture is first confused then realizes what Hank was referring to.

A small montage like scene begins. Inside the Venture Compound’s cloning facility, Dr. Venture, disables life support for the clones and activates the reviving process. Lights begin to glow inside the cloning tubes. The goo that was covering the clones begin to drain out of the tubes. All the tubes then lift up unto the ceiling and dozens of Hank and Dean’s clones begin to wake up and walk out of the tube’s pedestals. A special Venture plaque logo covers their genitals. After the clones come out of their tubes, they form in two lines. Sgt Hatred is then shown smoking his cigar as he looks at these clones form up. He tells these clones to “ten hut." The clones follow his orders. Outside the cloning lab, Hank and Dean look at each other, then open the lab’s door. Inside the lab, Sgt. Hatred is shown marching in front of the clones as they all march outside. As Hank and Dean open the door, they do a little celebratory dance followed by a “Go Team Venture” salute. As the clones and Sgt. Hatred leave the lab, Sgt. Hatred leads them in the march out. Brock, still inside the surveillance room, notices the clones being lead by Sgt. Hatred via a screen inside the room. Brock then spits out his cigarette and gets up then leaves the surveillance room, heading toward where the clones are heading.

Back in the battle outside the Venture Compound, both OSI troops and the Monarch’s henchmen are still fighting each other. In comes Sgt. Hatred and his army of clones marching in to fight in this battle. Both the Monarch henchmen and OSI troops stop what they were doing and watch in awe at the new arrivals. Sgt. Hatred’s clone army continues to march into the battlefield. Some of the OSI’s troops and the Monarch’s Henchmen troops both look from above as these clones come marching in. Sgt. Hatred then salutes and the clone army stops marching when they reach a line separating the OSI troops and the Monarch’s henchmen.

Hank and Dean look from above via inside the Compound’s control center. Dean yells out in glory that “Sgt. Hatred has saved the day." Hank tells his brother that they sort of helped him out. Hank and Dean then do their celebratory “Go Team Venture” salute.

Back outside on the battlefield, H.E.L.P.eR. comes accelerating inside the Monarch Mobile, running over several of the Monarch’s henchmen. Just as the Monarch Mobile heads toward the clones and thus the OSI agents, the OSI agents prepare to open fire on both the clones and the Monarch Mobile. As they aim fire, Brock comes running outside and tells the OSI troops to cease fire. As the Monarch Mobile heads toward the clones, H.E.L.P.eR. notices the clones and hits the brakes at the last second before he hits them. Brock heads toward the OSI troops and tells them to put their weapons down. As he says this he gently lowers two of the agents’ guns. Brock tells these OSI agents that he gives up and demands to these agents to let him talk to General Treister. General Treister comes walking along behind a few troops toward Brock’s location. As General Treister comes by, Brock notices him and salutes him. He then does the gesture as though he wants him to cuff him. General Treister smirks and twitches his beard.

Coming out of the Monarch’s Cocoon, the Monarch with an entourage of henchmen, carry the Monarch toward a specific location on the Venture Compound. The Monarch, wearing his Death's Head Panoply, a suite of gold-plated armor, tells his henchmen to put him down and to give him his megaphone. A henchman reaches out to get a megaphone and then puts it toward the Monarch’s face. The Monarch asks this henchman to hold it closer to his face because he can’t move his own arms. The same henchman holding up the megaphone holds it closer to the Monarch’s face and then turns it on. The Monarch then calls out to “the enemies of the Monarch." He tells them to behold his “Deaths' Head Panoply.” He continues to ramble on about how his new suit is the “final solution in tailoring." He tells these troops to be afraid. He goes on and on after telling them several other clichés. As he tells this to them, a few OSI agents aim guns to his head.

Inside the Cocoon’s throne room, Dr. Mrs. the Monarch views the Monarch as he’s about to use his new armor via the view screen. Dr. Mrs. the Monarch complains about how the Monarch hasn’t even battle-tested the new armor. She says to herself that she can’t believe the Monarch is wearing this armor. She continues to say that they never even tested it. She then complains aloud saying: “why does he always have to take the last step over the crazy edge." Dr. Mrs. the Monarch then gets up from her throne and goes to look for the Monarch. As she does this, a close up/zoom-up of the bomb detonator is shown to be located on her thrown, left unattended.

Back outside on the battlefield, the Monarch continues to taunt and rant about how his enemies are going to die. He then begins to conclude to his speech by saying how he’s going to finish off his enemy. He then whispers to one of his henchmen, who is located behind him, to press the little red button behind his sleeve. The henchman complies and does as he was told. When the henchman presses the button, the Monarch suite’s wings pops open, instantly decapitating the henchman who was behind him. The Monarch then lifts up into the sky as his suit also has jet propellers located on his shoes. As he lifts up into the sky, spinning and laughing, small missiles, darts and laser beams fly out of his wrist guns. On the ground, the laser beams fall to the ground almost instantly cutting through several of the OSI troop, the Monarch’s henchmen, and the clone troops. All the clone troops perish, while the remaining OSI troops and Monarch henchmen fly around so that they don’t get caught up in the laser fight.

Back inside the Compound’s control room, Dr. Venture complains about his life’s work being destroyed. Dean tells his father that it feels like he’s the one who’s dying. Hank complains that they should be the ones out their fighting with them, and that they should be fighting side by side with their “moist warrior brothers." Dr. Venture tells Hank to calm down because he tells him he “only lives once."

Back at the battlefield, the Monarch continues his flight of terror as he laughs, spins, and shoots lasers. Something goes wrong with his rocket boots. One of his shoes malfunctions, causing him to go on a distorted rotation, moving on all axes. The Monarch stops laughing and begins to get dizzy. The Monarch then gets motion sickness and vomits while in the air. On the ground, a few OSI troops, Brock, and General Treister are diving for cover as the Monarch is still on the air. The Monarch then falls to the ground landing on his back and covered in vomit. As the Monarch lays on the ground still dizzy and distorted, General Treister gets up and tells Brock that he has a funny way of thanking people. General Treister continues saying that they flew all the way to the Compound just to save his “butt," and all they get was being ambushed by a group of “moth people." Mr. Cardholder, who standing behind him, corrects General Treister and tells them that they are butterflies and not moths. General Treister asks Mr. Cardholder if that’s true, because he might have been thinking of someone/something else. Brock then asks General Treister what he was talking about because he reminds them that they ordered three assassins to kill him, and when he killed all of them, he, General Treister, came to the Compound to finish the job themselves. General Treister tells Brock that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He then explains to Brock that all he knows is when one of their men is in trouble they come in to help them. Brock, confused, begins to ask General Treister a few questions about if what he told him is true. Though he never finishes any of the questions, he comes to the conclusion that someone had set him up, and that it was a big misunderstanding. General Treister jokingly tells Brock that he thinks his mind has gone “AWOL." He then tells him that he should have seen that coming, since his work has gotten sloppy over time. He continues to say that it’s mostly due to Brock’s public killings across the world, abuse of company property, and none of his reports on Dr. Venture ever mentioning about an illegal cloning farm. General Treister says this about Dr. Venture’s cloning farm, Dr. Venture arrives at ground zero, and asks Brock if he actually sent the OSI reports about him. General Treister tells Brock that it seems like he’s been on that mission detail for too long. General Treister then tells Brock that he could go back with them and find him a better assignment, which would be easier on his mind. Brock declines the offer and tells him tells him that he’s seen enough “spinning butterfly and naked boy armies." He then tells him that he’d rather… quit. Hank, Dean and Dr. Venture cheer on Brock as he tells General Treister that he quits. Dr. Venture tells Brock in a joyful way “OSI!? Who needs them!." Brock begins to walk away. Dr. Venture then asks Brock where he’s going, and asks him if he’s going to help out and clean the mess. Brock yells back at Dr. Venture and tells him he already said he quit. Just as Brock says this, Sgt. Hatred takes out his helmet and tells General Treister that he could use a job.

Near a parked Monarch Mobile, Number 24 walks out of the car and waves to his fellow henchmen, Number 21. Brock, walking toward the Monarch Mobile, yells out to the Monarch, who is being attended by Dr. Mrs. the Monarch, and tells him that he’s taking his (“fucking”) car. The Monarch tells him that it’s all right. As Brock turns back around to go to the car, the car, and everyone near it explodes, including presumably H.E.L.P.eR. and Number 24. Brock is thrown by the explosion’s force several feet away. Everyone looks at the explosion, and Number 21 yells out “Noooooo!" to Number 24 As he yells out, a decapitated flaming head, Number 24’s, hits Number 21 on his head, and Number 21 grabs it on his hands. He then looks at it.

Somewhere in a secret location, Molotov Cocktease is looking at Heinrich "Herr Trigger" Triggermensch, Russell "Go Fish" Sturgeon, and Jean-Claude Le Tueur’s profiles. She then neatly puts them back into a folder, starts her gas lighter up, and then incinerates the and throws them away. As she does this, she taunting says something aloud about their competition finally being gone. After she starts the fire, she congratulates her Black Hearts on completing their mission. She tells them since their planned mission was a success, they are now the top assassins in the country. She then raises her glass of champagne and toasts to their new organization, the “Black Hearts Elimination Agency." She tells them that their organization is now officially opened for business, all thanks to Brock Samson. In the background, sitting on a chair, Colonel Hunter Gathers, dressed in a Black Hearts uniform, lifts up his champagne glass and also toasts to Brock. He tells the group referring to Brock: “Long live that longhaired, butter-creamed, frosted murder cake." He then drinks the glass of champagne.
