Live Semi-Final Performances - Recap
The LIVE Semi-Finals are underway and Carson Daly says that the 8 Semi-Finalists are going to perform and then the judges are going to give them scores. Afterwhich, the votes will be calculated. Team Adam: Katrina Parker or Tony Lucca, Team Blake: Erin Willett or Jermaine Paul, Team Cee-Lo: Jamar Rogers or Juliet Simms and Team Christina: Chris Mann or Lindsey Pavao are ready to show that they have The Voice. The coaches are in it more then ever and each has a mind to win. Blake says that he seems that the other three are cocky and says that he is sick of it because he is confident that Team Blake is winning. Christina says that her singers are so different and says that it is exciting. Cee-Lo says that this is going to be difficult and says that he loves both his singers. Adam says that he loves his team and says that this is going to be a true test to everyone’s strengths.
Tony Lucca is first up. He is going to sing “How Do You Like Me Now”. He says that winning this would be phenomenal. His family says that Tony is an amazing person and is always there for them. He says that this has to step it up and show them all. He comes out and sings. Afterward, Blake says that he liked the version that he sang and says that it was really good. Christina says that she liked it and says that it was fun. Cee-Lo says that was a pleasant surprise and says that he became a fan of his. Adam says that this has been a great process and says that he loved it tonight and says that it was the perfect thing at the perfect moment.
Erin Willett comes up next. She is going to sing “Without You”. Blake says that she has made a smart song choice and says that he loves how she uses her voice. Erin’s family says that Erin has been singing for a while and has a great voice to prove that she has what it takes. Erin says that this could be her breakout moment. She comes out and sings. Afterward, Christina says that she has a beautiful voice and says that it was original. Cee-Lo says that he loves that she sung beautifully and says that it was great. Blake says that she looks beautiful and says that he would give anything to get a tenth of the talent that she has and the strength to her. Erin is crying on stage to what the song means to her.
Chris Mann is next and he is going to be singing “Ave Maria”. He is happy for this. His family says that Chris has been singing ever since he was little and they are happy that Christina is Chris’ coach and they have always had faith that he could do this. Christina says that she is all for making it his own. He loves that he is going to be able to sing the song. He comes out and sings. Afterward, Cee-Lo says that his voice is so pure and powerful and is the epitome of the show. He says that he enjoyed it. Adam says that he sang it classic and beautiful and that it is cool. Christina says that she felt the heavens open up now and was moved and humbled. She gets up and gives him a hug.
Jamar Rogers is up next. He is going to sing “If You Don’t Know Me By Now”. He says that he wants to make it 2012 and changes the original and Cee-Lo loves the change. Jamar’s family says that Cee-Lo was the man who touched his heart the most. Jamar wants to do this for everyone who had dreams. He comes out and sings. Afterward, Adam says that he is a pure fan of what he does. Blake says that was the most laid back performance and he appreciated hearing the bottom end of it. Christina says that she got motivated to start singing. Cee-Lo says that he did a great job as usual and says that he wanted to have him show that side of him and says that the story of his life would be a best seller because they all want to know him better and says that it is a success story.
Adam and Cee-Lo have formed a Super-Group that has Katrina Parker, Juliet Simms, Jamar Rogers and Tony Lucca. They sing “All Of Things I’ve Done” and entertain the crowd.
Jermaine Paul is next. He is going to sing “Open Arms”. His family says that Jermaine tried to serenade her and says that she didn’t want to be that type of girl. However he and her fell in love. Blake says that he is happy that he picked him. He comes out and sings. Afterward, Christina says that he came in and murdered the song and says that it was great. She says that she wishes that she had pushed her button to begin with. Cee-Lo says that he did a wonderful job with it. Adam says that he is no longer a background singer and says that today is in the front. Blake says that he is reminded of a moment when Adam said that Jermaine was the guy to beat and says that he is peeking at the right moment.
Katrina Parker is up next. She is going to sing “Killing Me Softly With This Song”. Adam is shocked that she is peeking at the right moment. Katrina’s parents say that Katrina has always been determined and that they are so proud of her. She comes out and sings. Christina says that she has fallen in love with her and says that she wishes that she was her coach and would have suggested more of a tone. Christina says that Adam needs to take a look at Katrina. Lindsey Pavao is up next and she is going to be singing “Skinny Love”. Christina says that she loves the way that she sings it. Her parents say that Lindsey has been making little recordings and they knew that she was connecting. Lindsey says that she is shocked that she is there and needs to not doubt herself. She comes out and sings. Afterward, Cee-Lo says her voice has a shy quality and that she played it confident tonight. Adam says that everyone is so different and loves it. He says that she did an incredible job. Blake says that Christina did a great job to bring her back to what her artist started with and says that it was risky, but it was good. Christina says that she loved to see her in a coffee shop setting and she goes up to give her a hug.

Last up for the night is Juliet Simms. She is going to sing “It’s A Man’s Man’s World”. Cee-Lo says that he needs to hear the soul with the song. Juliet’s family say that they are proud of her and is happy that she has gotten this far. Juliet says that she owes this to herself and says that it is the last and final opportunity to bring it home. She comes out and sings. Afterward, Cee-Co gives her a standing ovation. Adam says that was something special and unbelievable and says that she is one of his favorites and says that she is the one to beat. Christina says that she takes her back to a time and place to feel the love from the crowd. Cee-Lo says that she killed it. That’s it for the singers! Results tomorrow!
