The Finals are here and for Team Blake: Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott and CeeLo and Nicholas David, it is the end for two of them. They kick off the night with all the Finalists and coaches sing “Halleluiah” with name plates of the victims of the Connecticut Massacre. Tonight they are going to be performing solo performances and duets.
The first up for the night is Nicholas David. He says that he is doing this for his family and says that his plan was to sing songs of hope. He is singing a medley of “Great Balls Of Fire” and “Fire”. He comes out and sings. Afterward, Adam says that this is first time he showed a different side of him and says that he is happy that he entertained the crowd. Blake says that was so much fun and says that he is glad that he had fun with it. CeeLo says that his honesty is appreciated, but his fire burned the house down. He says that he is a fan of his.
Cassadee Pope comes out and reprises her performance of “Over You”. Afterward, Christina says that she looks drop dead gorgeous and says that she loves her presence. She says that she nailed the song again and says that it was a perfect fit with Blake. Adam says that the coolest thing about her voice is how she developed it and says that she has a lot to be proud of. Blake says that it was perfect and says that with America’s heart heavy, it was a great moment and sparks the healing process.
Blake invited Terry McDermott and her family to his house and says that it was fun to hang out with him. Blake has flown in Terry’s father who he hasn’t seen in 4 years. Terry says that it was fun. Blake and Terry McDermott come out and sing “Dude Looks Like A Lady”. They have fun on stage. Adam plays the guitar dressed in a wig and headband.
Nicholas David comes out and reprises his performance of “Lean On Me”. Afterward, Adam says that he looks like a principal and says that he did that song justice again. CeeLo says that they have spent some time together and he never ceases to amaze him. He says that he appreciates him and says that he makes him believe and moves him. He says that he loves him.
Terry McDermott is next up. He says that his father brought him into music and he says that this has been an amazing thing. Blake says that he is amazing. He is going to sing “Broken Wings” and he says that this is chasing the dream. He comes out and sings. Afterward, Adam says that he could tell something was going on in the beginning, but he recovered great and says that he nailed it. Blake says that he is amazing and says that every time he gets on stage, something epic happens. He says that he makes the Classic Rock songs sound new again.
Blake invited Cassadee and her family over and Cassadee says that her family is amazing. Blake says that God broke the mold when he made Cassadee. They come out together and sing “Steve McQueen”.
Terry McDermott comes out and reprises his performance of “I Want To Know What Love Is”. Afterward, Christina says that his voice is incredible and says that to be on the show, it takes strong work ethic. Blake says that Christina is right and says that was his breakout moment and says that he sang it better tonight and says that he absolutely drives him crazy because he is so honored to be associated with him.
CeeLo invites Nicholas David and his family and CeeLo asks his parents how he got into music. His wife says that she never wanted to have Nicholas to step back from music and Nicholas is grateful. They come out and sing “Play That Funky Music”. They have fun and Milo, CeeLo’s Mini-Me.
Last up for the night is Cassadee Pope. She says that she was in a band called “Hey Monday” and decided to go solo. Blake says that Cassadee has been coming into her own and says that it is great. She says that her dad called her and says that he wants to make it work. She is going to sing “Cry”. She comes out and sings. Afterward, Adam says that the great thing is that she accomplished on a different team and says that she is amazing. Blake says that she has had a lot of moments and says that it was great.
