The episode begins at a familiar survivor camp. Lori meanwhile announces that she is “heading out” and tells Carl to stick close to Dale. "If you see anything, holler," Dale demands. "I'll come running." So Lori heads into nearby woods to search for provisions. She then hears a rustling. But when she tries to locate the origin of the sound, she is unable to do so. Location: The building that is the Norfolk Southern, at the corner of Spring and Nelson in Atlanta.
Trivia: During filming a S.W.A.T. team in Atlanta was called because people thought that Michael Rooker (Merle Dixon) was a sniper on the roof.
Rick: Where are you? Outside? Can you see me right now?
Glenn: Yeah, I can see you. You're surrounded by walkers. That's the bad news.
Rick: There's good news?
Glenn: Nice moves there, Clint Eastwood. You're the new sheriff come riding in to clean up the town?
Rick: Wasn't my intention.
Glenn: Yeah, whatever. Yee-hah. You're still a dumbass.
Andrea: We're dead, all of us, because of you.
Rick: I don't understand.
Morales: Look, we came into the city to scavenge supplies. You know what the key to scavenging is? Surviving. You know the key to surviving? Sneaking in and out. Tip toeing, not shooting up the streets like it's O.K. Corral.
T-Dog: Every geek for miles around heard you popping off rounds.
Andrea: You just rang the dinner bell.
T-Dog: Anybody out there? Hello? Anybody read? I'm hoping to hear somebody's voice 'cause I'm sick and tired of hearing mine.
Merle: Yeah, well, that makes two of us. Why don't you knock that crap off? You're giving me a headache, boy.
T-Dog: Why don't you pull your head out of your ass? Maybe your headache will go away. Try some positivity for a change. Damn.
Morales: Hey T-Dog, how's that signal?
T-Dog: Like Dixon's brain: weak.
Glenn: Oh, this is bad. This is really bad.
Rick: Think about something else. Puppies and kittens.
T-Dog: Dead puppies and kittens.
Continuity: Rick tells Glenn that he has a gun with one magazine and 15 bullets. However, he runs out of ammunition after firing only 14 shots.
When Morales and Rick are chopping up the walker, Morales is wearing a helmet. When he swings the axe down his helmet is on, but when he raises his head again the helmet is gone.
When Rick hands Morales the helmet, there is no blood on his gloves or on the face guard. A moment later, there is blood all over the face guard and Morales' gloves are covered in blood.
When Rick goes inside the department store Andrea pulls a gun on him. Her finger alternates between being on and off the trigger between shots.
When Glenn and Rick cover themselves in walker guts, Glenn's jacket is almost entirely covered except for small portions of his arms and the bottom of his coat. When the scene changes he is suddenly only half covered with guts.
When Rick and Glenn are covering themselves in walker guts, Rick gives T-Dog the key to Merle's hand cuffs. Everyone then goes upstairs to watch Rick and Glenn in the street. However, when they get up there, T-Dog is already sitting on the ground on the walkie talkie like he was earlier in the episode.
When Rick and Glenn are driving out of the parking lot in the truck it is raining heavily outside. The camera angle switches as the drive through the gate and suddenly the streets are not wet and the sun is out.
When Lori takes off her shirt in the woods she is wearing a necklace that is long enough to be tucked under the wire of her bra. In the next scene the chain of the locket is noticeably shorter.
Rick tells the group not to get any blood on their skin or face, but when he hands T-Dog the key, there is clearly blood on his hands.
The truck that Rick and Glenn use to get out of the construction site has no rear windows, yet, when they are backing out Rick turns around to look behind him.
Factual Error: Rick uses a screwdriver to hotwire the 2010 Dodge Challenger. This would not work in real life because all new Challenger models have a push start and use a Key Fob system.
Factual Error: The M67 grenade that Rick finds in the tank has a blue safety lever. An actual M67 is entirely green with a yellow stencil on the body. The one used in this episode is a repainted M69.
