Recap

The episode begins in flashback, where Lori is shown confiding in a female friend that she and Rick had a big fight the night before. The friend asks Lori if she still loves Rick. Lori from the looks of it clearly isn't sure. Suddenly, Shane pulls up with some bad news; Rick it turns out has been hurt. He is in surgery. Lori on hearing this tries her best to keep herself together, just then the school bell rings. Carl then emerges from the school and Lori breaks the news to the boy, who immediately begins to cry on hearing this tragic news. They then embrace, looking visibly distraught. Back in the present day Rick runs, carrying a seemingly lifeless Carl in his arms. ..
