Episode Quotes
Carl: You didn't wake me up.
Rick: I knew you were up all night reading comics with a flashlight.
Carl: What' up with Voilet?
Rick: Carl, I told you not to name them. They're not piglets any more, they're food.
Carl: I just thought, you know, until...okay.
Rick: I don't know what's going on with her. Could be sick, could be nothing. Feel better, Violet.

Daryl: Smells good.
Carol: Just so you know, I liked you first.
Daryl: Stop. You know, Rick brought in a lot of them, too.
Carol: Not recently. Give the stranger sanctuary, keep people fed, you're gonna have to learn to live with the love.
Daryl: Right.

Zack: Hey, I was just going to come find you.
Beth: What's up?
Zack: Well, the council pulled back everyone from the coal crew from going on the run. They're short handed right now. Figured I'd step up to help, go with them. I just wanted to make sure I saw you before...
Beth: Okay.
Zack: 'Cause I just...you know. It's dangerous going out there.
Beth: I know.
Zack: Okay, you going to say goodbye?
Beth: Nope!
Daryl: It's a damn romance novel.

Zack: Okay I think I got it.
Michonne: Got what?
Zack: Oh, I've been trying to guess what Daryl did before the turn.
Daryl: He's been trying to guess for like six weeks.
Zack: I'm pacing myself. One shot a day.
Daryl: Alright, shoot.
Zack: Well, the way you are at the prison. You know, you being on the council you're able to track, you're helping people but you're still being kind of surly. Big swing here: Homicide Cop.
(Michonne laughs)
Daryl: What's so funny?
Michonne: Nothing, it makes perfect sense.

Clara: What were the questions? The three questions?
Rick: How many walkers have you killed?
Clara: Eddy...Eddy killed them all, until...
Rick: How many people have you killed?
Clara: Just me...just me.
Rick: Why?
Clara: I don't...I don't get to come back. I don't get to come back from this.

1812 Overture: The famous composition '1812 Overture' by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is being played over the speakers at the supermarket the group is searching in.

Episode References
Season 3, Episode 16: Michonne returns to the prison after spending time looking for The Governor. In 3x16 "Welcome to the Tombs" The Governor left with a small group of followers after failing to take the prison from Rick's group.

Season 3, Episode 6: The three questions Rick asks of Clara are a nod to 3x06 "Hounded", when Rick has hallucinations and talks on the phone. He is asked similar questions by the voices of Amy, Jim and Jacqui.
