Episode Quotes
Carol: You can sleep Lizzie, I'm okay.
Lizzie: If there's trouble I can take Judith. I can help.
Carol: You really think you can help me?
Lizzie: I know I can, ma'am.

Tyreese: Lizzie's tough.
Carol: When it comes to people.
Tyreese: What do you mean?
Carol: You haven't seen it? She's confused about them, the walkers, she doesn't see what they are. She thinks they're just different.
Tyreese: Is Mika the same way.
Carol: No, she's worse. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body.

Mika: I don't have to be tough, I can run, I'm good at that.
Carol: No. My daughter ran, and it wasn't enough. That's why I taught the kids at the prison to do more than that.
Mika: I can kill walkers, I mean I tried. I'm not like my sister, I'm not messed up. I know what they are, but I can't kill people. I could never do that, and the bad people at the prison, they were right in front of us. I held up my gun, but I couldn't pull the trigger. Killing people is wrong.

Tyreese: The whole world is haunted now, and there's no getting out of that, not until we're dead.
Carol: Tyreese, maybe they're not haunting us. Maybe they're just teaching us. Helping remind us, so that we can live with what we have to do.

Carol: Just look at the flowers, Lizzie. Just look at the flowers. Just look at the flowers...

Episode Goofs

When the group finishes shooting the walkers, Carol moves in to hug Lizzie, and Lizzie is holding her gun in her left hand. The camera angle changes, and Carol and Lizzie are hugging, but the gun is in her right hand now.

The way that Lizzie is griping the knife changed between camera angles as Tyreese and Carol are approaching her.

Because of the motion in the scene the cameras stayed focused on weird places, like the background and Carol's pants, but there is a bigger goof. When Carol approaches Lizzie she pushes with her left hand going across her own body. Pushing Lizzie that way would have left the girl facing away from the Walker, unless she spun when she fell. In the next cut she falls without spinning but is turned to look at the walker. Watching Carol's hands will show that it has switched to Carol pushing her with her right hand, knife hand, and reaching for the walker with her left.

Cultural References
Adventures of Tom Sawyer: When the group is walking along the tracks, Mika asks Carol how 'Tom Sawyer' ends, as they never got to finish it.

Adventures of Tom Sawyer is the title of a novel by American author Mark Twain.
