3x16: Welcome to the Tombs recap: The episode begins in Woodbury where the Governor is beating up Milton for setting the zombies on fire a few weeks ago. Milton tries to appeal to the Governor, asking what Penny would think about his behavior. The Governor admits that his zombie daughter would be scared, but insists that if he'd always been a shrewd, merciless torturer, then she'd be alive today. The Governor shoves Milton into the torture chamber and orders him to pick up his tray of tools. Milton fumbles and manages to leave a pair of pliers on the floor right behind Andrea's feet. The Governor hands Milton a knife and tells him to kill Andrea. Instead, Milton turns around and tries to attack the Governor, but he ends up getting stabbed in the stomach by the Governor. The Governor's plan is to leave Milton to die, so he turns into a zombie and devours Andrea...
read more.3x15: This Sorrowful Life recap: The episode begins and the Governor's deadline is upon them, so Rick and Hershel have decided to hand over Michonne to him. They break the news to Darryl, and he is shocked. He says it’s not like them to do such a thing, and Hershel agrees, but Rick points out that this would avoid a lot of bloodshed. Rick goes inside to find Merle and tell him about their plan. He tells Merle they need to quietly kidnap Michonne and give her to the Governor, so they can prevent the looming battle ahead. Merle taunts him, saying he is suddenly being inducted into the inner circle now that it's time for Rick to get his hands dirty. Merle says the Governor won’t kill Michonne, but will instead do nasty things to her...
read more.3x14: Prey recap: The episode begins with a flashback and it's nighttime in the woods. Michonne and Andrea are camping out. Behind them, and chained to a tree, are Michonne's two armless walkers. Andrea wants to know where Michonne found them. Michonne's expression turns grave, but she doesn't answer. Andrea realizes she has raised a subject she shouldn't have, and apologizes. Michonne only tells her that they got what they deserved, and adds that they weren’t human to begin with. Back in the present, the Governor is on his knees. His arms are extended and he's yanking on a pair of chains bolted to the wall...
read more.3x13: Arrow on the Doorpost recap: The episode begins and Rick along with Hershel and Daryl, arrives for the talks at what looks to be an abandoned barn. They are tense and on their guard for a possible ambush. Rick enters the barn looking for the Governor, and just then he walks out of the shadows. The Governor says they have a lot to discuss. During the meeting, Rick mentions how his men attacked him and his group, but he counters that he could have killed them all and he didn’t. He then removes his gun and Rick is immediately on the alert, but the Governor says he is only removing his weapon as a sign of good faith. It’s then revealed that he has another gun taped right under the table...
read more.3x12: Clear recap: The episode starts with Rick, Michone, and Carl alone in a car. They pass a guy begging for help, equipped with a distinctive orange back pack, who seems desperate. After ignoring him, they come up on a place where cars had been stopped and get stuck in some mud. A small horde of walkers swarm the car, trapping them until Rick lowers his window enough to start shooting their way out. While Rick is teaching Carl how to give the car some traction, Carl blames Michone for them being stuck. Rick explains that the reason Michone is with them is because they have common issues and common interests so he's hoping that they can work things out...
