The Weekenders is a cartoon series about four middle-schooler's weekend adventures. They include Tino, the sarcastic, Captain Dreadnought fan-boy, Carver, shoe-loving, cool kid wannabe, Tish, the Shakespeare loving perfectionist, and Lor, the 'few-stars-short-of-a-galaxy' jock of the group. This series was unique, since the main characters changed clothes every episode, yet they'd re-use clothes, like normal kids.
The Weekenders ran for 39 episodes. Although it premiered on ABC in the Disney's One Saturday Morning block, it ended up on Toon Disney during mid-season four, and the new episodes premiered there for the remainder of the series.
Throughout this comical series Tino often breaks through the "fourth wall" in which he directly talks to the viewer. Also, in every episode of the series the pizza place where the gang ate always had a different name and theme.

  More 4kids garbageRating: 0 likes, 1 dislikesOkay so it's summer time and most of 4kids's loyal viewers (including me) turn on the TV after just waking up. We're all ready to start our day with another hilarious episode of Sonic X or something similar. But when we turned on the TV, what were we greeted to? It wasn't the fimiliar *Sonic X theme song*. Nope. It was *in a mocking Tino's voice* Later Days *normal voice* I (and probably most other then-loyal 4kids fans) decided to try watching thisand give it a chance. It was the most terrible thing I had ever seen!!! That show single-handedly ruined Cartoon 4kids for me and probably most then-fans!!! I didn't laugh---heck I didn't even CRACK A SMILE once!!!! Tino's Mom is the only person in that family with any SENSE!!! She wants that RODENT out of his house!!! Anyone else notice that Tino's head is in a spape of a pumkin? The Weekends also paved the way for other terrible cartoons (Chalkzone, Baby Looney Tunes, The Buzz on Maggie, etc.). Jason Masden(the voice of the Cat from Hocus Pocus, Chester, and The Waiter from Home Movies) should tell them he quits or his career will be ruined. To sum it up, The Weekenders is TERRIBLE!!!!
