The West Wing: Lord John Marbury

When India and Pakistan go to war with each other and threaten nuclear war, Bartlet calls British diplomat Lord Marbury for advise on how to handle the crisis. Josh gets subpoenaed to testify in Lillenfield’s investigation of Leo’s prior drug and alcohol abuse. Toby accuses C.J. of being overly friendly with the media and Charlie asks Bartlet permission to date his daughter.

Episode Goofs
While the NRO officers are on the satillite phones, the Indian task force has two CVEs and four destroyers. Later, Bartlet says that there are four CVEs and two destroyers.

Cultural References
Bartlet: I'm Spencer Tracy at the end of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner."

In the movie Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, actor Spencer Tracy plays the part of the white father who is shocked to find that his daughter is engaged to a black man. However, as the movie progresses, he realizes that skin tone shouldn't be a factor.
