Recap

A group of hunters and their hounds chase a fox through the woods. They eventually corner their prey and bring it back to their manor. Jim is there chatting with the hunters, including Jim and Artie. They argue over a woman and Jim accuses of Artie of dishonor. He punches his partner and a fight breaks out. Jim easily wins and Artie reaches for his pocket, and his partner draws a gun and shoots Artie dead. When he claims it was self-defense, one of the guests, Secret Service Head Colonel James Richmond, confirms that Artie was unarmed and merely reaching for a handkerchief. Richmond orders Jim under arrest and the agent dives out the window and flees...

Episode Quotes
James: Artie, you couldn’t be quiet, not even at your own funeral, could you?
Artemus: Well, somebody had to tell the truth.

Lorelei: If you value your life, we'll need several consultations.
James: Your cell or mine?
Lorelei: Your humor is ill-advised, Mr. West.

Artemus: Hold it! You killed me once this week, isn’t that enough?

Artemus: You know, this could make a pretty entertaining game. Of course, you use a ball instead of stone. "Bucketball."
James: It'll never catch on.

Lorelei: James! I’ve been waiting for you all evening.
Artemus: Well, I haven’t. Where have you been and do you have to stay?

James: Artie, if you keep stealing my girlfriends, you’re going to end up dead again.

Episode Goofs
As Fenlow is arrested, he quotes the Pledge of Allegiance, saying "one nation, under God." The Pledge of Allegiance wasn't written until 1892, well beyond the timeframe of the series.
