The episode title comes from the movie Hoosiers in which an underdog basketball team makes the state championship game.
| The 1949 version of "Sweet Georgia Brown" by Brother Bones and the Shadows was obviously a referrence to The Harlem Globetrotters, the comedy basketball troupe uses the same version as their theme song.
