An exanguination of a Greenwich, Connecticut, man leads Mulder to believe that aliens performed the task. Scully and he talk to the man's little girl, who gives them an unusual account. At the same time, a similar exanguination in San Francisco turns up another young girl who looks exactly like the girl in Greenwich.

According to genetics, multiple extra chromosomes would result in spontaneous abortion of the fetus long before birth. | The waitress at the restaurant tells Mulder that he'll need keys to access the bathrooms, but the bathroom doorknobs do not have keyholes on them nor are any other locking mechanisms on the doors. |
