Episode Quotes

Scully: Mulder, I don't think BJ was in the woods that night because of engine failure.
Mulder: What are you talking about?
Scully: Well, the Motel Black would have been the perfect meeting place -- away from town, away from his wife ...
Mulder: What do you mean?
Scully: It's obvious BJ and Tillman are having an affair.
Mulder: How do you know?
Scully: A woman senses these things.
Mulder: Aw...

Episode Goofs

The crewmembers and equipment's reflection can be seen on Mulder and Scully's car's doors, when they arrive to Mrs. Thibedeaux's house.

This frequently happens in the series:

Mulder is driving. Scully is in the front passenger seat. He pulls up to the curb with the house on the right. He has to shut the car off, unbuckle his seatbelt, get out of the car, walk around it, and yet he still beats Scully to the door....

Mrs. Thibodeaux remained in the same house where all her suffering occurred. Why would she do that if she admitted that the spot on the stairs still haunted her?

At the start of the episode, Mulder and Scully are in their office, while she casually flips through the pages of the file. She turns one particular page over many times, but from Mulder's view, the audience sees the page isn't overturned.
