Episode Quotes |

Mulder: (Referring to the town) But there is a weird feel to this place. Maybe there's some truth to those rumors.
Scully: I think he incited your imagination. I think this case is nothing more than a murderer taking advantage of local folklore. I mean there's nothing odd about...
(Scully is interrupted when their umbrellas are hit by falling toads. After the downpour ends...)
Mulder: So...lunch?
Scully: Mulder, toads just fell from the sky!
Mulder: I guess their parachutes didn't open. You were saying something about this place not feeling odd. | Mulder: Your records indicate a high incidence of students complaining of depression, headaches, eating disorders...?
Mr. Calcagni: This is high school. It's normal for students to display abnormal behavior. |

Episode Goofs |
| |
The teacher states that Shannon was dead when she fell off the stool after the girl died from slitting her wrists. To actually die from that takes a while. Even after she would have passed out and fell off the stool. Furthermore, the wounds would have clotted before she died unless she submerged the wounds in water to prevent the clotting. | When Mulder turns on the water fountain, he is shocked to see that it goes down the drain counterclockwise. He points out that the Coriolis force should make it drain clockwise, as they are in the northern hemisphere. Unfortunately, that isn't entirely true. The Coriolis effect doesn't have an impact on things much smaller than a hurricane. |
