Episode Goofs
When Scully takes a bug out of a dead prisoner with the tweezers, she is not wearing a mask. However, she is wearing one suddenly when she closely examines the bug.

In this episode, we see Scully, a highly trained doctor being exposed to an obviously fatal communicable disease without wearing a surgical suit. She just wears a mask and gloves.

In the episode's opening, a scientists discovers a boar carcass. There are no warthogs or wild boar in the rainforests of Costa Rica.

When the insect in the container is placed on Scully's arm, it is placed on the middle part of the inside of her forearm and taped down. Later, the container is taken off of her arm, but the position of the container has moved to just below her wrist.
