  Episode Quotes
Mulder: You're a soldier. You knew what you were getting into when you enlisted. Now you want to blame everybody else. Why do you want to blame your COs?
Rappo: I blame him for what happened to all of us. You don't know what it was like... You sat home and watched the war on cable TV like it was a damn video game. You have no idea about the guys that died. About the blood... the sand. What it feels like when a hit comes. Thing is, you just don't care, do you? You got your crude oil. Just change that station, right? Killer got his prime time. LC got his fancy little medals. Now, take a good look at me, WHAT DID I GET?! Nobody knows how I feel. They took my life away.

  Episode Goofs
Lieutenant Colonel Victor Stans is adressed as Lieutenant Colonel. According to regulations in the military, the proper way to address an LTC is simply Colonel.

According to standard military procedure, when the threat to the general is elevated, not only should he be required to have uniformed MP's guarding him, but also he should have been assigned plainclothes security officers.

Captain Janet Draper is wearing infantry branch insignia on her Class "A's". Females are not permitted to either enlist or commission into the infantry branch.

A post commander resides on almost every Army base. General Callahan, as a commanding post officer, shouldn't have been living off base.

Just as the unseen soldier tells the Colonel to stand down before he jumps into the pool of boiling water, the Colonel says, "Not this time!" On screen, his lips do not move when he says these words.

When General Callahan tells Captain Draper to go home for the evening, she salutes him and he returns the salute. Unless it is during a ceremony, and then only with the appropriate headpiece on, there is no saluting indoors in the military.
