Mulder returns from Hong Kong with Krychek in tow. However, they are attacked by unknown agents and Krychek manages to escape while Mulder finds himself in a hospital. Meanwhile, Skinner is also admitted to the hospital suffering from a gunshot wound fired by a man who is working for the group that wants Scully's sister's murder investigation to end.

Skinner has post-operative cardiac leads attached to his chest. Why is there no cardiac monitor in sight?
When Skinner recieves the blood transfusion, why wasn't it on an IV pump?
Scully tells the two cops that, based upon the waitress's description, they know Skinner's "shooter" is a male with a B+ blood type. That waitress must have pretty good eyes to determine a man's blood type by looking at him.
