Upon seeing the the reversed slide with Ronin on it, Agent Burst says the word in the Anglicized manner and Mulder corrects him by say the word properly, Ro-neen (Japanese: 浪人). Seconds later, Mulder says the words samurai (侍) and yojimbo (用心棒) in the English fashion. The 'a' in Japanese is always sounded like the short English 'a' (ah) while the 'i' in Japanese always sounds like the English double 'e'.
| When looking up the word Osu (Japanese: 押す) in the dictionary, Mulder says the word as Oshu.
| Modell's pre-trial hearing should have been taken place in a Loudoun County courtroom with a state judge presiding instead.
