Episode Goofs |

Continuity
When Scully goes to talk to Mulder after having Marty try on the gloves, she begins a statement by saying, "Okay, so by your reasoning..." When the camera shifts to Mulder's right side, he is shown with his head down. In the very next shot, his head is up as he replies to Scully. | Continuity
When Marty and Mulder are talking at the end of the episode, each time the camera angle switches, from inside Marty's cell to outside, Marty right hand and Mulder's left hand switch positions. The shot inside the cell shows Mulder's hand over Marty's. The shot outside the cell shows Marty and Mulder's hands either just touching or apart with their respective hands holding a bar on the cell's door. The outside shot with their hands apart give levity to the scene a bit later when, as Mulder is told to leave and the lights inside the cell are turned off, Marty holds his hand. |

Bloody Gloves: O.J. Simpson Trial
The quip that Marty makes about the bloody gloves, from "You're killer is O.J. Simpson," to, "Somewhere Marcia Clark weeps," and Mulder's quip, "Even if the gloves do fit, you can still acquit," are all references to the infamous O.J Simpson Trial. |
