Shayne Ward impresses all the judges with his rendition of 'Sacrifce'. Sarah does not do nearly as well with her performance of 'I Believe I Can Fly' and leaves the audition room in tears after hearing the judges comments. Trevor Hodgson at just 16 manges to impress all the judges and makes it through. Spirit And Destiny manage to get on the wrong side of the judges and don't make it through. The judges are subjected to more awful renditions including one from Kerry who claims to be 48 but the judges think she looks older. Total Eclipse are not happy with Simon's comments and storm out of the audition room. Sharon is the mentor for the over 25's while Louis is the mentor for the under 25's leaving Simon in charge of the groups. Simon picks 4Tune, Conway Sisters, Journey South and Addictiv Ladies leaving Eskimo Blonde, The Brothers and 4thBa5e disappointed at missing out. Louis' final four are Chenai, Shayne, Phillip and Nicholas. James, Trevor and Alexandra are all disappointed not to make it through.
