The X Factor: Series 8 - Boot Camp 1

The 132 successful acts that have made it through the auditions travel to London for the boot camp stage of the competition. The acts enjoy a welcome party on the outskirts of London. Some of the acts find their hopes being dashed before they have had the chance to perform when they are cut from the competition. All of the acts left in the running are put through their paces and some fair better than others when they are set the challenge of performing together in groups at Wembley. More acts find their dreams coming to end when they are eliminated from the competition but for some the journey continues. Some of those who failed to make it through are given a second chance when they are given the chance to form groups.

Recap

Part one of Boot Camp in London kicks off and the contestants are nervous about what they are going to have to do to show the judges that they have what it takes to make it into the next round of competitions. The hopefuls are bunking in a luxury hotel in the outskirts of London. They singers gather around for the mixer that the judges have put together for the singers. Meanwhile at 10:05 PM, Louis, Kelly, Gary and Tulisa start the long process of choosing who is not going to be worth their time to even continue with and they watch the videos and wonder what they were thinking to even think to put the acts through. ..
