Ep. #9172 - Recap

Nina is horrified when the coffin opens up and there are only sandbags in it. Nina demands answers from the morgue attendant. Nina leaves and Paul asks the attendant if they can run a DNA test for him on what they can find in the coffin. Katherine and Jill are arguing about Jill shuting her out after finding out they are not related. They are interrupted when Paul calls and informs them about Phillip's body not being in the coffin. Soon, Nina and Paul arrive and Nina tells them that this is proof the Cane is a liar and the man who ran the tests on Phillip is in on it. Paul gets a call from the morgue and gives the news that they were not able to run the DNA test because there was never a body in the coffin. Every is upset and Katherine suggests that the funeral home could of sold his body for parts because they were not having a private or public viewing of Phillip's body. Jill goes to meet Cane and tells him and Lily about what they found in the coffin. Jill tells him that she hates to do this but she wants him to take another DNA test to silent Nina and Cane agrees. Later, Cane goes to a cooler and pulls out a box with Langley written on the top and a bunch of viles of blood in it. Billy pays a worker at Crimson Lights to keep the patio off limits after he sees Mac go into it. Billy reminds her that this would of been their six year anniversary if they had been able to stay married. Estella and Rafe arrive at the ranch thinking the Nikki may of made some head way with Victor and Ashley. Estella is horrified to see the baby's head from the statue. Victor tells them that he has already called Det. Wallace to come and investigate. When he arrives he tells them he will take the evidence downtown but Victor insists everything be done at the ranch. Det. Wallace is able to find a finger print on the box and Adam is seen flashing back to Estella dropping off the box the day before with Victor's documents in it. Victor wants Rafe and Estella's fingerprinted and Adam's checked since they are in the database from his prison time. Rafe refuses but Estella says she has nothing to hide and submits her prints. Victor informs Adam, who already knows because he was listening in his room. Det. Wallace returns and tells them he matched the finger print to Estella and arrests her. Estella wants to see the box and mentions dropping one off the day before and she is obviously being set up.
