Cane calls "Langley" and leaves him another message to call him back. Lily overhears but Cane covers and tells her that his uncle is having financial difficulties. Cane leaves and Lily grabs him phone noticing that all the outgoing calls are to Langley. Sharon is at the Abbott mansion where she realizes that she forgot Jack's birthday. Jack tells her that she gave him the best gift by telling him that he is the father of the baby. Jack asks if Nick knows the results yet and she tells him that she never had a chance because of Summer being in the hospital. Jack is surprised by this news and Sharon informs him of Summer's allergic reaction and that she is in a coma. Nikki and Paul arrive at the hospital and bring in a bunch of flowers that have been delivered for Summer. Phyllis thinks it looks like a funeral home and asks that they be removed. Phyllis leaves the room and runs into Victor where he hugs her. Mary Jane arrives saying that she just heard the news. Victor gets a call from someone demanding that he meet them at Jimmy's within the hour. Nina meets up with Neil and she tells him that she is worried about Lily if it turns out Cane is conning them. Neil tells Nina that Cane is an upstanding guy and he doesn't think that he is involved. Cane and Lily arrive at the Chancellor mansion where Lily tells Jill about Uncle Langley. Jill is confused but ends up getting distracted by the woman arriving to take Cane's blood sample. Michael arrives at the hospital and warns Phyllis to be wary of Nick. Phyllis notes that while it felt good to have Nick holding her hand she knows he will be back to Sharon before long. Victor arrives at Jimmy's bar where Gloria tries to hide herself. Jeffrey tells Victor he knows all about his affair and threatens to tell Ashley unless Victor gives back all the money and he, Gloria and Jill lost. Victor refuses to play into Jeffrey because he didn't do anything and Victor leaves but stops at Gloria to tell her to watch it. Victor arrives at the Chancellor mansion at the blood test is winding down. Victor demands to speak with Jill. Nina and Lily end up getting into an argument and Kay gets upset and nearly collapses. Cane jumps up and knocks the vile of blood off the desk in anger. Cane slips the vile out of his pocket and exchanges it for the one on the floor. Nina sees Cane touch the vile and becomes upset. Victor talks with Jill outside where he demands that she call off Jeffrey and Gloria and this scheme they are trying to pull. Mary Jane tells Phyllis that she must be relieved that Nick isn't the father of Sharon's baby. Phyllis is shocked and wonders how Mary Jane knew and Mary Jane tells her that she was at Jimmy's when Sharon told Jack. Phyllis breaks the news to Nick that he isn't the father. Nick goes to the chapel and is angry that God wouldn't fulfill Cassie's dream. Mary Jane visits Summer alone and apologizes to her telling her that she didn't think this would happen. Later, Mary Jane is outside Summer's room talking to herself about a mother doing this to her own daughter and Heather overhears. Heather calls her office to pull some research. Nina meets Paul at the hospital where he tells her that he has talked to everyone that was involved the night Phillip III died expect one person and hands her a picture of the officer who rode in the ambulance with Phillip III.
