To try and break the curse, Tosh is forced to smuggle the woman into Torchwood, where her problems continue.



8 :01x08 - They Keep Killing Suzie

To try and identify who is using their name the team are forced to once again use the Resurrection Glove, reviving not only the victims but also former Torchwood team member Susie. When an error occurs in the process and Susie stays alive, she manipulates Gwen into taking her to see her dad.

The Torchwood team are placed in mortal danger when they investigate a mysterious signal that is reaching out hypnotically to lure in vast groups of helpless children. Dr Rupesh Patanjali becomes involved with the Torchwood team after an encounter with Jack and Ianto. It soon becomes apparent that the government are involved with the 456 and know what is going on. Jack and Ianto visit their respective families as Gwen heads to East Grimstead to speak to an adult who has been affected by what has been going on.

Gwen and Ianto find themselves having to go into hiding to avoid the government squad's action against them and their respective families. Both Gwen and Ianto are worried about what has happened to Jack. Jack's body is recovered by the hit squad and he starts to regenerate. Meanwhile, the government await the 456's arrival.

The Torchwood team are forced to set up a new temporary base and are forced to break the law to get the things they need. Gwen turns to Lois for more help in the quest to discover what is going on. Jack's daughter and grandson's lives are endangered when they are taken captive by the hit squad. The children of the world all point towards London and a huge pillar of fire is directed towards the capital. The children then announce the words 'we are here'.

Jack explains to the rest of the team what happened in 1965 and why he had to hand the children over. It is revealed that Clement was one of the children that was going to be handed over. Frobisher tries to find out what will happen to the children if they are handed over to the 456. The 456 announce that if their demands aren't met, then the whole of the human race will be wiped out. With Lois' continued help, the team find out what the world's leaders are going to do about the 456's demands and how the children that will be handed over will be selected.
