I'm all for things being connected, and the idea of "if you have copious amount of information you can predict outcomes with a high level of certainty" ( Person of Interest, I'm looking at you ), but in this pilot ep methinks they went a bit overboard with the 318 thing.

Maybe I should have used the spoil tag a bit.... anyway,
I'd always recommend giving a show at least a single viewing.
As for this series, I'm reserving judgment for now as often(?) the makers use the pilot as a trial run and the 2nd ep to iron out / tweak things.
Remembering back to The Cape and also Alphas with their eps dealing with someone who was so good at analysing behaviours that they could place a single coin on the pavement and the consquential efffect would be a bus crashing 5mins later (the kinda thing the Final Destination films do). Well, I can buy into someone being able to do that, but... and it's a big but... it's just this show might take it that one step too far (or rather about 4 steps too far).
Though maybe I'm prejudiced cos I find young kids in drama series to often be extremely annoying - I'm looking at you Once Upon A Time.

guytwo was right. It DID get tiresome. I got through 8 1/2 episodes before I threw up my hands and said, "UGH! Can't do it anymore!" I'm amazed that so many good and really interesting shows got cancelled this season, but this one got picked up for another season.
See my review for a bit more detail on why, but some of these messages seem to sum a lot of the points up, I thought they were just being premature since they were mostly said about the pilot. I gave it 8 1/2 eps to be sure.
