Elysium is no paradise...not if your names are Jay Burchell and Tyler Fog.
This episode began digging into Jay and Tyler's pasts, as Jay remembered Tyler's long-running feud with his father Carlton all through grad school. While we're still not entirely certain why Tyler was financially disenfranchised from his father, it seems that Carlton's view of Tyler hasn't changed all that much.
Marlow seems to be questioning Chambers's handling of this case more and more, and I think that's a good thing. While on the surface Chambers seems to be a man on an understandable mission, I have to question his handling of Kim and his sudden appearance when a picture of Will came forth (hand drawn, but still). It's looking like there's more to Chambers than he's letting on, and that the only chance the boys have is if Marlow continues to question his tactics.
It seems that Jay has a few trust issues. While being distrustful of everyone when on the run isn't necessarily bad, it does seem like it takes a lot to earn his trust...but once you have it, you have it forever. Tyler, on the other hand, is one to place his faith in what he knows rather than ask too many questions. After the events in the hangar, though, I'm sure he's going to be doing a lot of questioning now.
Finally, what role does Homeland Security have to play in all this? Considering the call at the end, it seems like there are more than a few people who would like to see Jay and Tyler dead...
