Tru Davies has just graduated from New York University and is planning on going to medical school. After her internship at a hospital falls through, she has to take a job at a morgue as an attendant working the graveyard shift. On her first night on the job, she hears the voice of a murdered woman, and the next day she awakes to re-live that same day. She tries to prevent the woman from being murdered while trying to fix other problems in her life. Tru has a younger, slacker brother, Harrison, who's constantly running some sort of scam and has gambling problems. Her older sister, Meredith, is a lawyer with a drug problem.

After Tru's mother dies, Tru hears her mother's voice tell her everything is ok. 20 years later a dead person asks for her help and time is reset to the morning again.
Last Episode: 26: 2x06 -- 'Twas the Night Before Christmas...Again
It's Christmas Eve. Everybody is happy including Tru . Then out of nowhere a 6 month old corpse asks for help. Tru is confused on how she can save the corpse's life, if only the day is rewound.
