Keep This Party Going - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
Eric has just completed his meal of the one man and throws the arm at Lafayette. He tells him if he has any silver on him that it would be the time to reveal it. Lafayette tells him that he isn't that stupid and Eric tells him that he is. Eric realizes that he has blood all over him and then remembers that he has foils in his hair for high lights. He asks Lafayette if there is blood in his hair and Lafayette says that he can't see in that light. Eric gets closer and Lafayette looks and he says that he does have some blood in his hair. Eric worries that Pam is going to be upset. Lafayette then asks him who Pam is. Eric asks him why and then asks if he wants to meet her. Lafayette tells him that he doesn't want to meet her, that he's good. Eric tells him that he is going to meet her anyway to see what he knows. Eric tells him to not try anything because he is still hungry.

Sookie and Bill have had make up sex and they talk about how amazing it was. Bill says that he doesn't want to make a habit of it because he doesn't want to be one of "those couples". Sookie remembers that Jessica is in the house and she ends up being embarrassed because she thinks she may have heard them having sex. Bill tells her that she did not hear them having sex because she would have had no compunction to tell them if she had. Sookie tells him that she thinks he should be a little less hard with Jessica as it is hard enough being a teenage girl. He tells her that Jessica is a vampire and Sookie tells him that if he still has his humanity--she still does. He tells her that he had to work very hard for a long time to regain that humanity. He tells Sookie that since Jessica is so new at being a vampire she has no humanity. She asks how Jessica's lacking in humanity, impulse control, and going through so many different and overwhelming changes is different from the life of a teenage girl. He asks her what she supposes he should do. He asks if he should allow her to just go on every one of her whims and allow her to have whatever she wants. They get into a bit of a disagreement over that and she says that it is ironic that they said they wouldn't fight and now they are fighting again, hinting that she wanted to have make up sex--again. So, they do.

Pam is checking out Eric's highlights and she says that it is a disaster. Now they are going to have to go much shorter than she had planned. Eric tells her that he said he was sorry and he is. Eric tells her that the man took silver to him and then asks Lafayette to defend him as he was there and saw what happened. Lafayette tells him that he doesn't know what they want to know but point him in the right direction and he will give them any information he has. Eric tells him that he has seen his website and it is low rent but his clients seem to miss him and wonder if he is ever coming back. Lafayette asks him if he is and then tells him if it is about the V he will give him a whole list of his clients. Pam says that she thought that hookers were good at keeping secrets. Lafayette tells her that he is a survivor first, a capitalist second, and a whole bunch of things after that but a hooker dead last. He tells them that if he has even the slimmest chance of getting out of there then he is taking it. Eric asks what happened to his supplier. Lafayette tells him that he doesn't know but the last time he saw him he was doing really well. He theorizes that he may have been taken. Eric asks by who and he says that he isn't sure. Eric tells him that that isn't very forth coming and threatens him with Chow. Lafayette tells him to chill out and then tells him that he thinks it may have been Jason Stackhouse. Eric and Pam discuss their findings in a different language and they come to the conclusion that it would be stupid to act on that. Eric tells Lafayette that that information is of no use to them. Eric asks if he knows any of the V dealers in the Dallas area and Lafayette tells him that he does. This is when Eric tells him that a friend of his is missing. He tells him that his friend is much older than him and so his blood is much stronger. He tells him that Goddrick (his friend) is over twice his age and is ten times the vampire he will ever be. Pam tells him that he doesn't do humble well and Eric tells her that he wasn't being humble it just happens to be true. He gives him an email of the dealer in the Dallas area. Eric tells Chow to bring him back downstairs to lock him up and Lafayette freaks out. He tells him that he gave him everything and starts to knock things over and fight being drug back down there. Eric tells him that he gave him nothing.

Jason is on the bus on to the trip with the church. They are singing and a man goes to sit next to him and introduce himself. He tells him that he is Luke McDonald--no relation to the restaurant. Jason asks him if he is any relation to the farm and Luke doesn't get it. Luke asks him if he played ball and Jason tells him that he did. They talked about how they both played and what positions they were. Luke tells him that he blew out his knee freshman year and he says that everything happens for a reason. He then talks about how it took three years of bible study, abstinence, and multiple times reapplying to get into that group that it took Jason two days to get into. Jason tells him that it took two days and he had breakfast with Sara and Steve. He says that with luck like his maybe it will rub off on him.

Tara goes outside and sees Eggs. They kiss and she tells him that he smells nasty and wonderful all at the same time. She tells him that she is curious about him. He wonders why she wants to rush things and she said now that he is so adamant against avoiding the question she's not just curious but she's worried. He tells her that he doesn't have a job. She says that she already figured that out and to get to the good stuff. He tells her about how he met Maryanne when he was living under a freeway overpass without a penny in his pocket. He tells her that he still doesn't have a penny to his name. She tells him that she doesn't care about money. He tells her that he served time for drugs--possession and dealing. He then tells her that he served time for armed robbery and assault but he got out for good behavior on the assault charge. She tells him that that's a plus and he tells her that she oughtta know and walks away.

Sookie is at home watching the news about a family that is looking for a teenage girl. It turns out that it is Jessica. They are trying to find her. Sookie goes into her grandmother's bedroom and starts looking at a picture of her, her grandmother, and Tara from when they were about nine or ten. Jason is at the orientation of the conference. They give them all rings of honesty that are made of silver. While they are wearing the ring of honesty, they must be completely honest. Also, Sara tells them that if they protect that ring with all their heart then maybe someday the ring will protect them. A man gets excited and screams "Die Fangers!" and they all laugh. At Merlott's Tara comes in late. Maryanne comes in and Daphne goes to go to the table but Sam says he has it. He goes over and tells her to stop messing with her. He also tells her that he wants her to leave. She tells him that since she forgave him on a $100,000 dollar loan the least he can do is let her buy some lunch. She ends up ordering practically the whole menu.

Back at the retreat they are playing flag football. It becomes very much a contest between Jason and Luke. Jason overpowers Luke and impresses the rest of the people there. This doesn't please Luke very much. Sookie goes to Merlott's on her day off to talk to Tara. She asks that she take a break and Tara tells her that Sam will be pissed. Sookie tells her that Sam is always pissed. Terry and Sam are going through a spat about what he is making and it is because Terry can't read Daphne's writing. Sam reads it and then snaps on her. He is being very hard on her. Lafayette is still down in the basement and remembers that the man that he was down there with had a metal plate in his lower body. He goes to get the metal plate out of the body and then breaks out of the chains. He gets out of the chains and then begins to sneak out. Unfortunately for him, he makes it out almost but then the bartender catches him and shoots him in the leg.

Tara and Sookie are talking about what Tara has been up to living at Maryanne's. Tara tells her that she is torn as it is great for her there. They take care of everything and she hardly has to do anything, but her gut tells her that it is too good to be true and something is wrong with that. She asks Sookie how she feels about that and Sookie tells her that before she tells her her opinion she has to tell her that she has a conflict of interest. Sookie asks her to move in with her and just asks for her to think about it. She thinks that she may need the extra kick in the butt so that she can move into her Grandmother's room. They hear a crash and Sam is snapping on Daphne because she spilled her order on his feet. When Sookie is trying to leave she is stopped by Maryanne. They have small talk and she tries to tap into her mind. She doesn't think in English and she asks where she is from because she is having a hard time placing her accent. Maryanne tells her that she is from Cape Cod. That is when Sookie excused herself because she had to go see Bill.

Jason is still at leadership camp and there is a Christian pop star that is singing "Jesus Asked Me Out Today". Jason is called to show what would happen if he found out someone was a vampire sympathizer or a vampire themselves. He ends up going a tid bit too far and breaks an American flag pole and goes to stake Mrs. Newlin. Despite that he receives a thunderous applause. That night while Jason is doing his nightly hygiene Luke shows how jealous he is and snaps on him.

Bill goes to the mall to get some clothes for Jessica. All of the clothes are short and provocative in Bill's opinion. Eric shows up and he's had his hair cut. Eric asks if Bill approves and he does. Eric wants Bill to allow Sookie to go help find a vampire sheriff named Godric. Bill doesn't want to.

Jessica has convinced Sookie after much begging to take her to see her parents from a far. It was promised on her part that she wouldn't go into to see them or interfere at all. She wants her to promise that she won't tell Bill. At Merlotte's Maryanne is still eating the bar clean. She decides that she is going to use her influence to turn it into a loud, rowdy bar that was full of sex and "animalistic behavior". Sam calls her out on it when they go into the back office and she changes him to his canine self. She tells him not to threaten her because she can do that whenever she likes.

Jessica is sitting outside of her family's home in Sookie's car. She sees her mother and immediately leaves the car before Sookie could stop her. Her mother answers and is excited that she is home. Sookie is upset because Jessica made a promise that she broke. Soon Jessica's father comes home. At first he's relieved and they embrace. Then he starts losing it on her. He gets nasty with her and she gets upset so her fangs drop. She tells him that she'll be ready for him if he wants to beat her.

At the vampire bar, Lafayette asks if the vampires can turn him instead of kill him. He tells them that he'd be the best dancer and vampire they could ever want. The three vampires (Eric, Pam, and Chow) all feed on him--but do not turn him.

Jessica is still losing it on her family. She is flipping out on her father about to kill him with her new found vampire powers. Sookie tries to stop it but Jessica pushes her across the room. Bill shows up but he can't enter. He wants to enter to help them and glamors Jessica's little sister to allow him in. Next thing we know he is very close to Jessica's dad and showing his true anger.
