Sookie goes running out and screams for Bill. A woman who speaks French, possibly a worker at the place they are dining at, runs up to her and asks her what is wrong. She says that Bill is missing and then the woman runs off because "vampires always cause shit". Sam is driving and it seems he is on his way to his birth parent's home. Jason has driven home and is drinking some beer panicking and having flashbacks to having to shoot Eggs. Tara is crying over Eggs' body while Lafayette brings her something to wrap around her arms. Jessica has come home to find flowers from Hoyt and then remembers that she has brought her leftovers (the trucker from the last episode of last season) home with her.
Bill's phone is ringing and a new man sees that it is Sookie. Bill is still being held by a silver chain and he wants to know who they are. The man says that they are the "fuck you crew" and then stabs him in the neck and they continue to speed on to where ever they are going. The female officer has shown up at the scene of where Bill has been taken. She asks her about how long she took in the bathroom after he proposed and she said it could have been a minute or two. Kenya, the officer, is giving her a bit of a hard time and thinks that he just lost his temper and left as opposed to getting kidnapped. She tells them it will be forty eight hours at least until she can.
At Merlotte's, Andy is listening in on Arlene talk about the shooting and what she had seen to the sheriff. Terry comes up to Andy to speak to him and tells him that he knows what he is going through because of it being his "first kill". He tells him that he should cling to the fact that despite the kill, he is still capable of being a decent human being. Andy tells him thank you and then says that he loves him.
Arlene goes on about how she respects law enforcement and Tara snaps on her because she thinks she doesn't care. Arlene tells her that she does care, but Tara doesn't really hear her out. She tells her "trash is as trash does" and Arlene tells her that she is sorry she fell for a serial killer, but who hasn't and Tara gets even more angry and tells her that he isn't a serial killer. Andy says he confessed and she says she doesn't care what he confessed to because he isn't responsible for it. Arlene gets evenly mouthy with Tara and asks why he wasn't responsible for it "because of society? Because of slavery?" Terry steps in and then Lafayette decides to take Tara home to Sookie's and says if anyone needs to talk to her she'll be there. Arlene throws her hands up and says she hates when they make everything about race and walks away
Jessica is on her home's steps with the trucker who is not in good shape. She doesn't want him to die and she is crying and then he calls her a whore because she won't take him to the hospital. She says she knows she is. She hears that Sookie is showing up and she comes in to ask if she has seen Bill. It was a pretty close call, but Sookie didn't notice that there was a dead guy in the house...as he died. She tries to bite herself and give him her blood.
The men that have kidnapped Bill are still driving, two men are in the back seat feeding off of him and seem to be really sexually confused. The one "hick" asks the other "hick" to spit some of his blood into the front seat "hick"'s mouth and that would be the only way for him to get V. They think it is "gay" but they are desperate. Bill asks the man from Ugly Betty (haven't learned his name on the show, yet) if he is the one in charge and then he explains to him that at the rate that they are draining him, Bill is actually going to die.
Andy shows up at Jason's house and catches him off guard. Andy tells him that he doesn't want them to end up in jail. They just need to act like everything is normal. He tells him that he needs to go out and get laid all the time like he used to. Jason wants to be the new Jason, but that is just how it is going to bed. "Conscience off, dick on and everything is going to be alright" is the quote Andy used.
At Fangtasia, Sookie shows up to speak to Eric. Pam says that he is indisposed at the moment but she goes to find him in the basement having some seriously violent/hardcore sex. Eric introduces his sex partner and new dancer and then walks to her naked and asks what she is doing there. She tells him that Bill has been kidnapped and she think he may have taken him. He hasn't and then her second theory is that Lorena may have. He says it is a good theory, but he should deal with her instead. She asks how she knows he will do that and he says that he is duty bound as sheriff to look for him whether he was kidnapped by a fellow vampire or otherwise natured--even though he wants what is his.
The kidnappers are still speeding around completely high on V while Bill is practically withering away. Or so I thought. He snaps the neck of the driver and then some of the "hicks" fly off because they were riding on top of the car and then the car crashes into a ditch. Bill climbs out of the car and is in horrible shape as he has been drained. He calls for Jessica and she wakes up as if she has been awoken from a nightmare. Her position is understandable as she has brought the dead man into her sleeping quarters, hopefully turning him like Bill did her.
Lafayette and Tara are at Sookie's and he asks if she is feeling floaty, yet. She says she is a bit. Sookie shows up and she starts sobbing. Sookie doesn't know and they tell her that Eggs was killed. She tells Tara that she told Eggs what he did because he begged her to. Tara snaps and attacks her physically. Lafayette gets her off of her and asks her what she is doing and then says "Tara, this is Sookie. She is your best friend in this whole world what are you doing?" Sookie tries to tell her she's in the same boat, but Tara doesn't want to hear it. Sookie then tells Lafayette to get her out of there and he apologizes as he leave takes her out of the house.
Eric gets on the phone with someone named Mr. Ruben. He asks him what happened and the man tells him that he was already gone by the time he got there. Eric said all he had to do was pick him up and loses his temper asking him how he could fail him. Pam tries to talk him down a bit. She tells him he is losing it and he needs to calm down. He tells her that the queen may cause a lot of trouble because he has lost the only vampire that knows about them dealing vampire blood. She tells him to call the queen. Eric refuses to call the queen and she tells him she's going to ground.
Sam is sitting in a hotel room circling names and opens the door and it is Bill. He asks him how he found him in Arkansas and he reminds him he has his blood. Sam invites him in and he asks if he can use the shower. Bill is hitting on Sam and then they are about to kiss. This is when Sam wakes up to his cell phone and he is told by someone that the parents he is looking for have been evicted multiple times.
At work, Hoyt is telling Jason about all of the stuff he went through with his mother and how she lied to him. He is happy because the truth has set him free. Jason says he thinks that the truth is poison. He tells him that all these people go around lying to mess people's life up, but if you really want to mess someone's life up--tell the truth about them. They will never be the same. Hoyt says that he needs a place to stay and Jason says he can. Tara's mother shows up at Lafayette's and tells her that even though he called her it doesn't mean that they're cool because she shot a gun at him. She says "praise Jesus" for listening to her prayers, but Lafayette stops her in her tracks. He tells her that instead of staring up at God who let all of this awful "sh*t" happen, she needs to be looking at her "f*cking" daughter because she's needing help.
Sookie is at the station and the sheriff is not helping her. He has a lot of work to deal with apparently and he doesn't want to help her. She tells him that she loves him like he loves his family and there shouldn't be a question to help her. Sam goes up to a guy named Tommy and asks if his parents are his. He tells him he is not the same Tommy and he says he left town six months ago and that man he was trying to find was a real "piece of shit". Sam tells him his name and then says he might come back for tires and walks away.
Tara's mother has brought her preacher to Lafayette's house and wants her to understand why God did this. Bill climbs out of the dirt and Jessica wakes up and is mad because it didn't work. She gets up severely nausea because it smells bad. The phone rings and it is Hoyt. He tells her he misses her and wants to meet up with her. She is of course is distress and says she has to go. So, she hangs up on him.
At Fangtasia, Eric sees that the Queen has shown up with the magistrate. They need to talk and Queen says that they should probably not use the office, because it is bugged. She tells everyone should get out except the new dancer. The magistrate says that no humans can be involved. He says that their area there is a lot of V usage in the area. The magistrate asks Eric how many vampires have gone missing in the area and he wants to know who is providing the blood for the drug users.
Arlene asks if Lafayette added cinnamon to his chili and he asks how she notices it. That is when she realized she is pregnant again. Jason tries to hook Hoyt up with a chick to get him laid. They want to know why he is sad and then he almost messed it up almost. They decided they want to go home with them. Hoyt isn't comfortable with it but he has him go with him.
The Queen asks how the vampire that is selling the blood will be punished and he says it will be a public, speedy punishment. Magistrate leaves and Eric tells the Queen that he doesn't feel the same sense of relief as he does. She wants him to hurry up and move the product and he doesn't feel comfortable with it but she forces him to move the blood. Eric tells her that Bill has been kidnapped and she doesn't care about it and he wants him to move the blood at no expense.
Pam shows up at Sookie's to give her a check and gives her more than he owed. Pam gets a shudder and explains it was Eric calling her and she has to check in. Terry goes to talk to Arlene, but she loses it. Pam goes to Lafayette to tell him he needs to sell all of the blood by tomorrow when they wake up. He says he can't, but she threatens him and he becomes clear that he has to.
Bill is walking and has found a house. Sookie shows up at Bill's house and asks if Bill can call her like Eric called Pam. She tells Jessica that they have to find Bill if she got a feeling where he is. Bill shows up at the house and rings the doorbell. An old woman answers the door who is on oxygen. He asks for the phone, but she doesn't have one. She says she had to choose between her oxygen or the phone. He then feeds on her.
The Reverend is ready to leave and her mother seems to be infatuated. Tara tells her mother that she is going to go take a shower, closes the door and just sits down to think and cry over the situation with Eggs. Sam is driving and follows a van to a house with the man that said he was not who he was looking for. He opens the mailbox to see what names were there and notices that he was lying.
At home, Jason is having a problem with getting hard and can't accept head. He decides to go down and the other girl asks if they join in because Hoyt can't handle being with another woman. They are a bit offended and ask what his problem is. He freaks them out and then they leave. He is embarrassed by this. After Bill has fed on the woman he glamors her to not remember. He asks where he is and realizes he is in Mississippi. He gives her money and says her son brought it to show appreciation.
Lafayette comes home and asks where Tara is. Her mother says that she is in the shower and he is pissed that she left her alone. Tara is in the bathroom swallowing his pills while Lafayette is trying to break down the door. Jessica and Sookie found Bill's car and the dude in there has a tattoo that shows that he is part of "operation werewolf". Bill is running through the woods and is ganged up on by wolves. He tells them that he should warn them, he has fed and then his fangs drop.
