Hitting the Ground - Recap

Lorena is drinking Sookie's blood and she says that no wonder Bill loves him as she tastes delicious. She asks who she is and Sookie tells her that she is the woman that is going to kill her. Bill gives the last of his strength to help hold Lorena while Sookie stakes her and then he passes out unconscious after having dealt with some pretty insane torture for an extended period of time.

Tara and Alcide show up and Sookie is suffering trying to figure out how to get Bill wrapped up so that she can get him out of there. Alcide's ex shows up with a gun and says "awe, you shouldn't have! Vampire burrito for me?" Sam is driving to where some dog fights are so that he can try to figure out where his brother is. There is a man with a shot gun he is trying to get through to and for some reason he is not accepting of Sam and he has to turn away. Alcide is trying to get Debbie to calm down so that she doesn't shoot everyone. She is upset that he didn't give her a baby. Tara takes her down and Alcide grabs the gun. Cooter comes in and he is shot by Alcide. She is upset that he picked a "fang banger over one of his own". Tara and Sookie get Bill in the van while keeping a gun to Debbie. She tells him that he better kill her and if he doesn't she will hunt him down. He tells her that he believes her and then locks her in there.

Sookie and Tara get Bill in the car and the rest of the wolf pack are chasing after him, so he hits one. Jason is sitting at his place listening to emo and contemplative. He says that he never thought that he was smart enough to get depressed, but he is depressed right now. He needs to know why he barely knows Crystal and already loves her. He and Hoyt talk about her a bit and he talks about the dealer that got busted, too. He tells him to go talk to him about Crystal to get some answers about his mysterious woman.

There is a knock at the door and Summer has showed up and jokes about coming in. She says she is just kidding and that she isn't a vampire like his last girlfriend. He's caught off guard by her being a "girlfriend". She made her biscuits, butter, and strawberry preserves. Sam has changed into a big dog and go to find where the fight is. Summer is telling Hoyt that she wants to be with him and Jason says that she is a keeper based on the biscuits. Hoyt just doesn't seem completely into it, as he is clearly not over Jessica yet.

Eric brings Hadley to the Queen who is in a cage. He threatens to drink her blood and kill her. Hadley is shaking because she knows the plan that he has. He wonders what the Queen's interest is in Sookie and she says she has none. Hadley doesn't flinch, which is strange considering the fact that Sookie is her cousin. He feeds on her and asks what she knows. She says please stop and she will tell him. She tells him as a secret and he says that he wasn't expecting whatever information he gave him and then he brings her back.

Sam goes up to the guy and wants to see what is going on. They think that he is not going to stand a chance in the ring because he just sat there and waited for him to get him leashed up. Sookie is trying to get Bill back on his feet and cuts herself with a saw and starts drinking. He gets a little too insatiable and violent. Alcide and Tara are talking and he says she needs to try to relax. She wants to start crying. Bill is ravaging Sookie.

Jason goes to speak to the drug dealer. He asks about Crystal and the dealer says that is his cousin. He thinks that she deserves better and the dealer decides to tell him something but gets interrupted by Andy and goes on his way to do basically...chores. Alcide and Tara are done and Tara goes to check on her and she isn't responding. It seems that Bill doesn't know what happened. Bill gets kicked out of the truck literally by Tara and they speed off leaving him in the middle of nowhere.

Sam gets into where the cages are and shifts. Sookie goes to the hospital and is given blood but starts to seize. Tara is waiting and the doctor says she has lost a lot of blood. They are trying to tranfuse her and her body rejected it. She doesn't have a blood type it learns. She put in an order for O Negative. She has never seen a reaction like that before. Sam gets behind the scene and sees that they are killing the dogs afterwards. Tommy gets into a fight and Sam is saving all of the caged dogs. He has found his family and demands their father give Tommy his clothes.

Jason goes to see Lafayette for meth. He says that he doesn't deal meth. He says that he is in love. Tara has called Jason to tell him that Sookie might die. They say that Sookie is in a coma and he needs to get there now. Sam is completely livid and standing up for his mother and his brother. He wants to take his brother elsewhere and Tommy is hesitant but he goes. Jason gets to the hospital and the person says that Jason may need to make the decisions since he is next of kin. Lafayette tells her off. He says that this isn't over. Tara doesn't get how Sookie doesn't have a blood type. Jason has one and he is A/B negative. She wasn't even born in a hospital, apparently. He says that their dad had to deliver her on the dining room table.

Sookie is in a coma and she is dreaming. She gets up in the hospital bed in a beautiful dress and finds a nice glass. She follows petals all the way to a beautiful world full of dancing women and men. She is shocked because a woman comes up and wonders how she is always in trouble. She brings her out there and sees all kinds of amazing people. She drinks from a well of beautiful water that might have healing power. She wants nothing more than to dance.

Lafayette is talking to Sookie and Jason. He says that there is only one great thing is waking up for the next day. Sookie is dancing with all of the other women. She says that she is going to sit out another dance. They want her to stay with them and she shouldn't go back. She never learned to swim. She learns that it wasn't the water that killed them and the dark approaches. When that happens Bill shows up. He says that his blood can save her. They say that he will steal her light. She asks how she gets back from there and it turns out to be a bit of a cemetery. Jason decides to let her feed off of Bill so she doesn't die.

Sam and Tommy are driving home and it is a quiet ride. The magistrate is torturing Pam still. He is going to pierce her eyelids. He is about to and Eric shows up with the Queen. His loyalty is to Mississippi. He has decided to arrest her due to her confession. They have ganged up on him. They inform him that Russell is marrying the Queen. Russell gets Pam out from the table and then ties up the magistrate.

Jason, Alcide, Lafayette, and Bill are there and when Sookie wakes up she starts screaming. The magistrate has been tortured to marry the Queen and King. He has decided to chop off the magistrate's head.
