I Wish I Was The Moon - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
Eric and Sookie are having an intimate moment, where they are making out and about to do much more. He says she is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen and she says it is because he can't remember anything. Bill slams open the door and they almost get into a serious fight. Before Eric can stake him, Sookie tells him that Bill is his king. He drops the weapon and bows to him as well as asking for forgiveness.

Sookie and Eric are brought to Bill's house. He is not resisting, but Bill is being harsh. He says this is strictly business and that he is under the control of necromancers, therefore he may be dangerous. He tells his security that if she is back on his property, she should be arrested for trespassing and has her escorted out.

Eric runs into Pam in the cell. He learns that she is rotting. She tries to tell him that he is a viking vampire, not a passive man. He fights it. He doesn't want to be that kind of person anymore. He doesn't want to remember what awful things he has done. He is also not the same as he was.

Bill talks to Nan and tells her that he has both Eric and Marnie. He tells her that he has been infected. They decide that he is going to need to meet the "true death". He seems to be fenced and feeling uncomfortable.

Arlene and Terry wake up to the house being on fire. They get the kids and Arlene can't find Mikey. The house explodes when Terry goes to get him out. It turns out that he was outside the whole time. Mikey sees a beautiful ghost that smiles and waves at him. He giggles and Arlene doesn't see anything. Sam is trying to figure everything out, but Arlene is panicking over what happened. Andy comes up to Sam and is very intimidating and aggressive. Sam tells him off and Andy threatens to have him put to sleep if he turns into a doberman and bites his face off.

Holly asks Andy for help to move a chair to her truck. They decide to have a date together. Sam calls Tommy and tells him what's up and he offers to show up to open the bar. He is going through serious self loathing and has met his breaking point. He hits himself until he ends up shifting into Sam.

Jesus and Lafayette are at his grandfather's eating goat tongue for breakfast. Lafayette is uncomfortable, but he pushes on through. His grandfather asks for a sacrifice. Tara's girlfriend from New Orleans shows up looking for her real identity, realizing that it is her. She wants to know everything about what is going on. They end up rolling around on the floor.

Sookie goes to take off work and "Sam" fires her. It is really Tommy. He gets a little too power hungry. He goes out to boss people around and hit on women. He goes to talk to Hoyt's mom and she says awful things like how he is dumber than a "bucket of spit". It breaks his heart and he snaps.

Sookie goes to see Jason and finds him tied to the bed. He explains to her what he is going through. Debbie wants Alcide to join a pack. Marney is still bringing the spirit to her and is trying to get her to avenge herself. It turns out her spirit was fed on and raped when she was alive as a witch, before she was burned. Marney has these visions and the spirit ends up in the cage with her. She sees her and the woman jumps into her and takes over her body.

Lafayette and Jesus have found the snake needed. Jason is scared to become a panther and Sookie tries to support him. She ends up chasing him around trying to find him. It turns out that it is impossible to become a were-panther.

Tara takes her girlfriend to Merlotte's. Jess goes to write an order, but she gets a sense and ends up booking it. Tommy is still in the body of Sam and Sam's girlfriend sleeps with him. He gets sick afterwards, too. Jason is being chased by Jess and it's because she can sense his fear. She tries to get him to go home. She is confused by the were-panther thing. He has a panic attack and she talks him down. There is some weird sexual tension between the both of them.

Sookie is still looking for Sookie and she runs into Alcide and Deb. They tell her that there is no way to turn a human into a were anything. It is hereditary. She is calmed down by that and goes to find Jason.

Jason is still with Jess and asks if she would go back to normal, she says she wouldn't. It isn't easy, but it is exciting. She's fast, strong, and no one can hurt her. She also smells and tastes things differently. Her world was tiny and now it's endless.

Bill is outside of his house waiting for the time to execute Eric. Eric is put to his knees. He is humbled and ashamed. He tells him that he has nothing to say in the old Eric, he will accept his sentence. He wants Pam to be released and to make sure that Sookie is okay. He asks that he says that he was born the night that she took care of him and that thanks to her he'll meet his true death knowing what true love is. He tells him that she still cares for him and wants him to find his way back to her. Bill asks why and he says that Sookie deserves happiness with whoever can give it to her.

Jesus is "poisoned" and a spirit comes to "protect" him through Lafayette and heals him of his wound. Jesus wonders who the spirit actually is. His grandfather knows the truth and they don't. The spirit is Tio Luca. They want to know who he is.

Sam finds Tommy passed out in his own vomit. Tara tells her girlfriend that she's going to quit smoking. Pam shows up to handle her business with a vengeance. Marney, taken over by her spirit, is watched by the vampire that actually raped the initial witch. He goes in to check on her and realizes it's Antonia. She uses magic to control him.

Sookie sees Eric and it seems the king has set him free. Bill stands on his porch alone as Eric and Sookie make love for the first time.
