I really like this show. There's lots of humour, some subtle & lots not so subtle,It hasn't rushed into the lets be detectives scenario, there are plenty of surprises like Gran being murdered,Bill murdering sookies uncle & god knows what Sam the bartenders really been getting upto & there's always an exciting ending guaranteeing you come back for more!
I rate it 4.5 /5 overall |

not really. somethings, such as Sam's oddities, are funny. (tho knowing about things, is making me HATE that damn dog...
some things are interesting to see, like in the books, you dont know so much about Laffeyette. it's intersting to think of him as a drug dealer. (i love him in the book, he's so sweet to Sookie, cuz since he's queer, he's like "us wierdos gotta stick together")
and in the book, Tara's a tall skinny white chick, not a loud mouth black girl.
so only the basic plot-lines are known to me. (tho since i know who the real killer is, when i see him on-screen, there IS a slight creep factor, and i can see how guilty he acts too. |

i agree about seeing tooo much of jason but so far i'm not sure it's a keeper for me. The endings make me want to watch the next one but i'm happy to wait for it, it's net a must see (yet lol) |

I have watched a lot of vampire shows and movies and for me, this one seems to be a keeper. Finally a show that doesn't leave out the gore of the killings, the intense sexuality and the conflicts between humans and vampires. Ok, church must be there as always but that's not a downer. I was really suprised by the show. The only bad thing for me is the southern accent, I really really can't stand it. |
