The books are pretty good, and a lot funnier than the series. So far the series has kept pretty close (I'm up to ep.6) to the first book.
The book series gets much more into the 'Sookie' universe of vampire culture as well as werewolves and various other supernatural beings.
I can highly recommend them. They're very entertaining if you're into that particular genre. |

the books are 10x's better than the show. the show makes Sookie weaker than she is in the books, and the climax was... well it wasnt as good as the book's |
