Charlie Harper's funeral attracts all of the women in his life that he wronged. Alan is in a pickle since Charlie's house must be sold. Alan meets a rich new friend that has more in common with Charlie than Alan originally thought.
Walden moves into Charlie's Malibu home as the new owner and Alan leaves, moving in temporarily with his mother. Walden is determined to get back with his wife and he takes Alan along for help.
Alan "temporarily" moves in with Walden. Walden solicits Alan's advice about women and also inadvertently gives Jake bad life advice.

When Walden sells Charlie's piano, Alan goes off the deep end and starts channeling his inner Charlie.
Alan returns from the nuthouse to find his life has descended into chaos.
