Alan's "yippie-kai-yay" comment (see above) is a twist on a comment from the first Die Hard film. The original quote was John McClane's (Bruce Willis) response to Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) after Gruber called him "an American cowboy" and asserted that he could not defeat Gruber's gang of hardened criminals.
