Recap

Barbie enters his room and finds Melanie going through his drawers. She explains that she's looking for reminders and that she thinks she knows him from somewhere. As Julia comes in, Melanie admits that she doesn't know where she came from. As the girl leaves, Julia asks Barbie to be patient with her, but Barbie says that he doesn't buy what he thinks is an act. He tells Julia to be careful about bringing strays in, and Julia points out that he was the last stray she brought in. Ignoring her comment, Barbie says that he's going to the diner to participate in Big Jim's mandatory citizen registration. Melanie asks if she can go with Julia, hoping that someone will recognize her, and Julia assures her that they'll figure it out...

Episode Quotes
Joe: It can't be blood, can it?
Norrie: I don't think it's cherry Kool-Aid.

Rebecca: It's not blood.
Lyle: How do you know?
Rebecca: Well, blood doesn't burn.
Lyle: Yeah, blood doesn't usually fall out of the sky, but take a look.

Norrie: Feel like checking your messages? There's only so much fake-ass fan mail from wannabee Dome groups that I can read before I barf all over this wonderful piece of machinery.

Julia: I always thought Lyle was harmless.
Barbie: Well, under the right circumstances, anybody's capable of anything.
Julia: You really believe that?
Barbie: I believe that when things fall apart, people show their true colors.
Julia: So, what, everyone's bad in the end?
Barbie: Well, this is just the perfect time to be having a debate about the nature of man.
