Ratings for "Unforgettable" were good, but the show (like "The Finder" and "Awake") demanded that the audience think - Cogito ergo cancelled. "Terra Nova" is gone, yet "Undercover Boss" is the fictional show that stays.

Yep, welcome to network TV. If it doesn't get American Idol ratings, its cancelled. Quality, creativity, decency, don't matter. Only money. (See Jericho, Firefly, Arrested Development..)

I watch those that make it on network TV, but personally cable networks are FAR better at doing TV.

Cable = Quality
Network = Money

Sometimes network has great shows, like Once Upon a Time, Awake, Modern Family, Community - but most of the time, anything that requires above 100 IQ is written off network TV.

They want the idiots, with money.

(See Dick Roman Reference in Supernatural - although CW is a cable channel to me.)

If the show starred a Kardashian, it would be on the air forever!

Yes, CBS cancelled this, even though it had a very large viewer base, but then right after that, TNT and another network were both going to try to pick it up, and after a few months, CBS changed their mind in the middle of last summer and it will now be back as a summer series this year.

I enjoyed it and watched every episode. My personal friends kid me about it, since I have an absolutely excellent memory.
