"V (1983)" Summary |
| |
Earth is visited by an Alien race. At first they seem quite friendly, and they look just like regular people. Some people suspect there must be something behind all the kindness they offer. One thing leads to another, and it is soon discovered these friendly folk from outer space are really hideous lizards who want eat us all!
Two mini-series and one regular television season follow the story which many people have equated to Nazi Germany. The entertaining story is filled with messages about the need to be skeptical of authority. The special effects were groundbreaking at the time, and this series started a number of people’s careers.
