	Mike Donovan, played by Marc Singer Mike Donovan was a TV news cameraman. He had experience as a combat photographer and was used to being where the danger was. His footage of the Visitor's true identity and later his reports of their dastardly plans help to galvanize the resistance. He seems unable to button his shirts though, but this doesn't seem to affect his alien fighting ability.
