The show had promise,as the idea did,I thought well lets see how it compares to the original series. Boy what a dismal failure, the interior of the spaceship looked like the inside of a office building with tons of wasted space, the aliens looked like coperate executives with no menace at all. The original mini series allowed time for the story to unfold, this new story was a rush job not to mention the bad acting! I thought he 1983 series had weak points but still a job well done, this new series like I said a dismal failure!

Looks like people dont like this new version, well, i never saw the old one. I think this is a great series. Yes, its some clichés (boy meets girl, girl hate boy. after some time girl loves boy...).
What i do like in this series, are the actors. Elizabeth Mitchell (Erica), is excellent actor, who we recognize from Lost. A badass FBI agent, and a "cool" mother. And Joel Gretsch (Jack), from the 4400. Badass Priest :). well the rest is just not that cool. Morena Baccarin (Anna) will us that have seen Stargate SG-1 recognize. She was a Alien leader there too. And she aint that hot!

Bottom line: keep the show on the air. It has much to show.

Whats wrong with sci fiRating: 1 likes, 4 dislikes
this version of v is what is wrong with sci fi and it is the reason we are going to have to wait for a true SCIENCE based FICTION show to come out, the networks are so focused on making sure all the actors are pretty rather than realistic, i'm no trekkie but kirk was no Kalvin Klien model, where as scott wolf?? as soon as i saw him i thought i was watching party of 5 re runs, i have no issue with the beautiful morena baccarin but seriously even the priest looks like he could be out of the bold and the beautiful, this is not sci fi its a crime drama with "aliens" to leave the crime drama over saturated market. we used to have good sci fi, battlestar galactica, farscape, firefly, and others. now we have this.

Really ? Again ?

I'm tired of the same damn scheme... Bad aliens come as friends but they have sinister hidden agenda humans surely won't like, but usually paranoid governments fall for it without even blinking.

Ah, and ofcourse the resistance...

It's a remake, but I've seen it before somewhere else... Battlefield Earth, Earth: Final Conflict, ID4 (of course), SG-1 Aschen race, and original Battlestar Galactica... and some other l4m3 movies from the '80s...

And it's all badly made...

Don't do remakes. Battlestar Galactica was the only exception, Ron D. Moore is unique.
