Logan Echolls, played by Jason Dohring
Logan has lived a privileged but tumultuous life as one of Neptune Highs famous 09ers. Growing up with a movie star father and mother, Logan and his sister have had everything they could ever want in life except a normal family.
After losing his girlfriend, Lilly, under tragic circumstances, his junior year of high school only seemed to get worse after his mother apparently committed suicide after plunging off a bridge. Later, he discovered that his abusive father not only had an affair with Lilly, but was the person responsible for her murder. During his senior year, he had to both fight allegations that he was responsible for the murder of a PCH'er, Felix, and work with people like Weevil to uncover the true culprit.
Logan's personality is complex, and some of that stems from the abuse he received at the hands of his father. Though he has a wicked sense of sarcasm and enough arrogance about himself to intimidate most people, Logan is in fact a very emotional and sensitive person. The one person with whom he is most himself is with Veronica, his on-again, off-again girlfriend, and he never hesitates to act when he believes Veronica is in danger.
