She is hoping to follow some leads the newspaper has gotten to close in on the campus rapist. In true Veronica style while she is trying to get into the sorority to get a closer look she finds a few enemies and answers in places she didn't expect. Logan and Wallace are put to the test when they volunteer for a class project that if they succeed at, will get them out of the term paper due at the end of the class. To test the effects of torture half of the project volunteers are guards trying to extract information to where a fake bomb is from the other half of the students who are posing as prisoners. After Veronica does very well on a paper most of the class failed, Professor Landry offers to be her faculty advisor if she would change her major to Criminology. However, is accused by another student of plagiarizing her paper.
After getting caught cheating on a mechanical engineering exam, Wallace is given a choice of getting zero on his or dropping the course -- He chooses to take the zero and struggle to make the grade so he can stay in his major. To do so he asks the coach for the semester off to focus on his school work in turn giving up the chance to be a starter on the basketball team.
Keith and Harmony spend more time together.
