| 1 :01x01 - Pilot (Sep/22/2004) | | Still troubled by the events surrounding the murder of her best friend Lilly Kane, Veronica Mars returns to Neptune High for the start of her junior year. Veronica has to deal with the wrath of Weevil when she helps the new kid in town, sophomore Wallace Fennel, down from the school's flagpole he’s been duct-taped to. To save Wallace from further torture from Weevil and his biker buddies, Veronica strikes up a deal to help them out. She devises an intricate plan that helps the gang avoid trouble with the law. After Veronica does very well on a paper most of the class failed, Professor Landry offers to be her faculty advisor if she would change her major to Criminology. However, is accused by another student of plagiarizing her paper.
After getting caught cheating on a mechanical engineering exam, Wallace is given a choice of getting zero on his or dropping the course -- He chooses to take the zero and struggle to make the grade so he can stay in his major. To do so he asks the coach for the semester off to focus on his school work in turn giving up the chance to be a starter on the basketball team.
Keith and Harmony spend more time together.

| 62 :03x18 - I Know What You'll Do Next Summer (May/15/2007) | Veronica passes her exam to be an official Private Investigator, while Piz lands an interview with Apollo Bukenya, an African student at Hearst who wrote a book about his years as an orphan child-soldier in Uganda's rebel army. Veronica is hired by an African man, Kizza, to help prove that he is Apollo's father, but her investigation leads to information that might expose Apollo's story as a fake. Meanwhile, as the election for Sheriff nears, Keith is faced with a crime spree in Neptune. Parker comes to Veronica for advice about Logan after learning he planned to spend the summer surfing with Dick.

Veronica and Piz make up after their argument about spending their summer apart, and a mysterious sex tape of the two finds its way to the Internet.
