Logan becomes suspicious when he finds his inheritence is not what he thinks it should be, and asks Veronica to check it out. As Veronica is looking through Logans financial reports she uncovers that there are large sums of money that are missing and follows the trail to someone names Charlie Stone (played by Gilmore Girls star (Matt Czuchry). Keith is hired by Harmony (Laura San Giacomo) who is convinced that she is married to a cheating husband. Because of a Pre-nup agreement she has to prove she is leaving him because of an affair on his part or lose everything she has.

Charlie Don't Surf
The title of the episode refers to a famous Robert Duvall line from the 1978 film Apocalypse Now. Duvall's character, Colonel Killgore, was commenting on the Viet Cong, for whom the military adopted the slang term "Charlie" during the Viet Nam war. Within the context of the episode, the title slyly suggests that Charlie Stone isn't exactly what he appears to be. |
