Darkstorm contacts a witch who grants him a magic potion that will trap Leoric in his lion form. Leoric is turned into a ferocious red lion. Then, Darkstorm convinces some local villagers that Leoric is an evil beast, and they decide to slay him.

Plot Hole: Why would there be a spell to entrap a Spectral Knight in his animal form? Were there any Spectral Knights in the first Age of Magic? Wouldn't it make more sense if the witch just said a Visionary?
| Continuity: When Witterquick arrives at Hesquidor's cave, he is no longer baring his Power Staff.
| Continuity: Cravex's Power Staff is kept on the left side of the Dagger Assault, but when the third sun is about to set, there is Cindarr's staff instead.
| Factual Mistake: When the third sun is about to set, Cindarr's Power Staff is white, instead of its usual yellow.
| Continuity: When Leoric transforms back into his human form, he is not carrying his Power Staff, but when he transformed into the lion, he was holding it.
