Merklynn gives the Crystal of Detection to the Spectral Knights, which works as an alarm warning them of the approach of any foe. Ectar is troubled about this reliance on magic to protect the city and his suspicions are confirmed when Reekon steals the Crystal. Now, the roles of detective and thief reverse, as Ectar decides to steal the Crystal back.

Plot Hole: Why did Leoric tell Darkstorm about the Crystal of Detection? Wouldn't be wiser to keep it in secret?
| Factual Mistake: Reekon's animal totem is much bigger than in previous episodes.
| Factual Mistake: In this episode, the Lancer Cycle has two seats, however in previous episodes it had only one and Arzon always had to ride on its top.
| Audio: When Darkstorm sends all his minions to search for the Spectral Knights that might be on the castle, Ectar transforms into the fox, but we can't hear the usual sound effect that happens when a Visionary transforms.
