Viva Laughlin!

Based on the hit BBC show Viva Blackpool, Viva Laughlin stars Lloyd Owen as Ripley Holden, an optimistic businessman whose life dream is to open a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. With a combination of dry wit and upbeat contemporary music, the series follows Ripley as he prepares to make a killing. The only problem is that his casino is nowhere near completed. When Ripley's financing unexpectedly falls through, he is forced to go to his enemy, the weathly casino owner Nicky Fontana (Hugh Jackman) for help. Ripley hits another string of bad luck when he becomes involved in a murder investigation following the discovery of his ex-business partner's body at his club.

At home, Ripley has to deal with the demands of his family, his wife Natalie (Madchen Amick) who wants more attention, teenaged daughter Cheyenne (Ellen Woglom) who wants her father to approve of her, and son Jack (Carter Jenkins) who wants to work with his father.

But Ripley takes it all in stride under the neon glow of Laughlin where there's no such thing as bad news, only deals to be made and stakes to be won.
