The mysterious Mr. Omir is part of a project to extract an energy source called Subterrainium-116 from a drill site in the sea floor. This extraction causes world wide geological disasters and great loss of life. This fact is not lost on Omir - he just doesn't care. And for good reason: he's got nothing in common with mankind.

Episode Notes
Van Druten, who supervises this project, is played by Cec Linder, who also played CIA Agent Felix Leiter in the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger. Series star David Hedison would go on to play Leiter in 1973's Live and Let Die and again in 1989 for License to Kill.
